And yes, she confirmed that most of the features na meron sa U.S. meron na rin dito. My dad would be really happy after I'll be informing him.

My only gripe sa Explorer is that after viewing the display unit sa Libis, I've noticed that the Explorer is too low for a SUV. Parang mas mataas pa yung Tucson. And our Montero has a higher ground clearance than the Explorer Naisip ko na yung parang mud guard sa may front wheels might get scraped sa steep inclines during initial ascent.
i suggest you place your reservation at either libis or edsa because global city is pretty full. if you're going to wait in line and not avail of their in-house financing i doubt you could get your explorer this year or early next year especially if you want a white one.

i really don't understand why people worry too much on ground clearance, SUV's like the explorer has enough ground clearance to not scrape or roads unless you bring it to the province where there are lots of unpaved roads and it is not made for off road purposes anyway. if usual city driving only i don't see why anyone would worry about needing too much ground clearance. it's not like you're going to take this car off roading. if you're gonna go to a place where you're worried about ground clearance then bring your montero instead, but for every day driving the explorer will do just fine. ford made the new explorer more sporty compared to the older version of it hence the lower ground clearance and as a result better ride and handling. if sedans and sub-compact cars do just fine in our metro manila roads i don't see why the explorer won't do better.

btw ground clearance of the tucson is 6.7in and explorer has 8.0, while my old forester has 8.9, mazda cx-9 8.0 and kia sorento 7.5 so the explorer is just fine.

I guess people who are concerned about ground clearance are also concerned about flooding. I think the Montero has the highest ground clearance among the small and medium SUVs.

yeah but no ordinary car is safe on ondoy level floods even the montero, and really how much higher is the montero compared to it's competitors. if ordinary 2ft floods any SUV will do just fine yung mga naka sedan lang ang kawawa.

Would a few mm of ground clearance make a difference? Not really. Gusto niyo ground clearance? Buy an SUV and lift it.

I hope our family phases out our daily-driven 2nd gen CRV. Can't wait to recommend this! parang the everyday man's Evoque.

yon nga eh, in flood it won't really make a difference. i could understand if off road capabilities but who would take a 2M car off roading? heck even if i have a TOTL montero sport i would never take it off road since it cost 1.8M, bibili ako pick up that cost arund 1.4M max for off road then lift it and get bigger tires.

And with the amount I paid for the Explorer, hindi ko din naman yan idadaan sa baha kahit gaano kataas ground clearance

May napansin ako yun fuel gauge if nag 80-50km warning then nag refill ako 500-1000 na gas, dun sa meter makita mo tumaas na yun gauge, kaya lang nag warning pa rin, hindi nag bago yun km to empty tank.

So yes it will work but often times the computer will tell you it wont fit...

Maybe you need to turn off your engine and on again a few times (key cycle) to reset gauges. Although dipa nangyayari sa akin when I fill up (full tank)

This happened to me when I filled my tires with nitro (empty then fill)... When I started the explorer the TPMS warning was on and stayed on. So i turned off the engine and asked the technician to check again the tire pressures but all tires were at 36PSI. So I started again the engine and TPMS warning is still on. I drove away 1 block and then the TPMS warning was gone. Hehe.

Mas limited edition yung pinost ni OTEP na police car

*Apple5: Thanks for the pic. The only solution is to bore new holes just a few millimeters below the original holes. Tama ba?
