i got my unit at ford alabang lastweek . my headlight had condensation when raining or get wet,
is that normal or factory defect.
Has anyone experienced condensation on a new 2012 Explorer Limited. Is this common and what would viable remedies be to this. I understand this happening over time, but have concerns since it is a new vehicle. Thanks
don't have any condensation on mine so better bring it back to casa and make sure that they fix it.
btw on my forester there was always moisture on the rear taillights when it rains but goes away right after i use it, subaru addressed this issue and said it was normal for the forester's and imprezas something to do with the size of the lamp and the temperature difference, especially in rain or snow but it should go away when the temperature goes up. that's for subaru's though not sure about other cars and for taillights only and should go away.

i havent noticed that on my unit but the manual says:
When normal condensation occurs, a thin film of mist can form on the interior of the
lens. The thin mist eventually clears and exits through the vents during
normal operation. Clearing time may take as long as 48 hours under dry
weather conditions.
Examples of acceptable condensation are:
• Presence of thin mist (no streaks, drip marks or droplets)
• Fine mist covers less than 50% of the lens
Examples of unacceptable moisture (usually caused by a lamp water
leak) are:
• Water puddle inside the lamp
• Large water droplets, drip marks or streaks present on the interior of
the lens
Take your vehicle to a dealer for service if any of the above conditions of
unacceptable moisture are present.

Called up Hart Int'l again today to inquire about the Explorer cargo liner. Cecil, the person who answered the phone, asked me if I'm the same person who called yesterday (Monday)... sino sa inyo ang tumawag?I will go there tomorrow morning to buy but until now, I'm undecided if I will get the whole package or just the cargo liner. Ang mahal kasi pag whole package.
*spynz: pinatong mo lang ba yung Weather Tech floor mat over the original mat or tinanggal mo yung original?
i did call yesterday but I did get a complete set in the afternoon... I initially wanted to get only the first 3 rows but decided to get the complete set...
You have to remove the stock mats for a perfect fit...
The quality and fit are topnotch especially the first 3 rows... the fit of the cargo liner is a little off but still acceptable...
i am now regretting getting the cargo liner not because of the said fit but because it is difficult to roll and to fit behind the upright 3rd row seat when not in use and the deep cargo area behind the 3rd row will be occupied by the rolled cargo liner...
i initially thought that WeatherTech also have a liner for that deep cargo area behind and below the upright 3rd row seats but they don't... It is
Husky who has one
btw, i did get the 2nd set of 5 WeatherTech liners... so hurry, 3 sets remaining in their current inventory
How much for the whole set? I'm only looking at getting the cargo liner, pwede na siguro 3M for the 1st - 3rd row. Dati namamahalan ako sa 3M pero nang malamang ko price ng WeatherTech, biglang naging mura ang 3M :D
When you stow the 3rd row, no need to remove the mat?
May distributor ba dito ng Husky brand?

Tingin ko mas sulit ang first row weathertech liners than the cargo liner because thats where you the driver will be using most of the time. Unless you carry bulky cargo (lalo na kung may wet materials), it's not really needed to carry it all the time. But of course that's just me.
The whole set cost 23k plus after 10% discount... hehe, expensive talaga
you do not need to remove the weathertech 3rd row floor liner in order to stow the seat.
I did not find any Husky distributor here in ph when i googled it... anybody know?
*prostee: Anong color ng ride mo?
I have a feeling that I will buy the whole packageStill have a few hours to decide
Gusto ko kasi ng cargo liner para ma-protect yung carpet pag naka-stow yung 3rd row. And I load it with 5-gallon water containers, sometimes pag may pinapadala brother ko ng mags, etc... In short, I maximize the cargo space para naman di sayang yung laki ng Explorer

Hehe, initially first 3 rows lang din gusto ko but when i saw how they fit i ended up buying the cargo liner as well... problem is it's rolled right now and i am concerned if it will retain its form when laid down again.
Golden bronze ride ko hehe... I initially opted for the white but i expected it to be the most common color so i opted for the less common color... also there is a certain angle that when you see the white explorer, you'd mistake it for a fortuner for a split second (advantage: no bronze fortuner)... and i liked the pecan interior of the demo car before that is supposed to be only available with the bronze unit ... pero nong lumabas black din interior... ok rin naman pala black leather and it is easier to maintain
i agree with this, white din talaga first choice ko but after checking with a couple of ford casa's and finding out the line in the white one was about 3x longer than other colors i asked which has the shortest line. ayon ended up with bronze and i'm so glad that i got a bronze one since the color is very rare and i can't think of any other car that has the same shade.
