*Tux96: I paid 70K for the in house insurance of Ford Global but didn't get their in house financing.

Haha, grabe mga inhouse insurance/financing ah... Anyway I got my first comprehensive insurance for FREE as I had BPI financing which offered free insurance for the first year.... No DI also.... Yon nga lang I had to wait for 6 months for my unit.... All in all it was a good deal, yong pang insurance ko sana pinangkuha ko na lang ng special plate may sobra pa pinangbili ko ng weathertech hehe

Obviously, they want to dip in cause there's still profit in it. So i told them if they can match my insurance price, then i will take it from you. I called up my insurance in front of them over speaker phone as ask for quote base on explo price. Insurance said it's 66K and so that was it.

Thanks for the tip Sir Macsd. I think that should be the best way to do it. Mahirap pala pag di nagtatanong-tanong. Really glad we have this thread. Thanks rin Sir Prostee, Foresterx and 3ple4 for the info.

Sa Ford Global where I got my unit, wala pa daw update ng MFT. But according to *apple5, yung kanya in-update daw ng Ford Global sabay na ata dun sa pinaayos nya na rattling sound sa dashboard. Weird nga eh pero di bale, so far ok pa naman MFT ko *knock on wood*

Your welcome, that's the whole purpose of this thread & forum. Sometimes you can share info, sometimes you ask for info.

On another note, i just logged my best FC so far at 8.68 km/ltr. Fill-up at Subic petron drive thru Clark and after dinner about 8pm drop by Ayala in Makati then Sta Rosa. Mostly auto cruise * 110kph at SCTEX & NLEX.

I have no idea how to directly determine the version of MFT aside from what I read about the appearance and response of the new MFT. The most obvious difference is the bigger clock display and the absence of the external temperature display in the newest version.

maalog - no way, who said it was and what car did they compare it with?
low resale value - that's to be expected to any gasoline suv right now
gas - most people who buys a car over 2M wouldn't/shouldn't worry about gas, anyway yes it is a gas guzzler

for me this car is the best SUV under 3.5M, i like it better than a expedition/suburban/lc prado/patrol/pajero/cx-9 because it has a much better ride than those, performs better(except for the cx-9), and has more features and toys to play with.

I will recommend this car... Speaking of maalog? probably not... Mas maalog ang other SUV's. I don't even complain how often i gas up the car in a month since i like it. Don't buy this car if your only thinking of resale value. You will not enjoy in the end. Just an advice...

You will not regret owning the explorer. Value for the money. I would say...
