    There's a dish I learned at Zambales, ginataang alimasag with labong, okra and saluyot. You can add more vegetables, or replace the crab with fried fish or shrimp, but the gata, okra and saluyot are the best combination for me.

    Chop suey, natakam ako sa mga nag luto nito dito.


    But instead of soy sauce and oyster sauce I used this. Mas masarap sya, para syang soy sauce pero iba lasa. My wife and daughter use this. I asked my daughter ano tawag dito, it's Japanese so hindi ko maalala. Update, according to Google lens it's called mentsuyu.

    Medyo undercooked yung ibang sitaw, at overcooked naman talong at ampalaya.

    Agahan mo ilagay sitaw. Mukha lang tender yang gulay na yan pero mas matagal palambutin.
    I do it this way
    Squash / kamote
    Sitaw, sigarilyas
    Okra ampalaya talong
    Lastly Yung leafy veggies

    If may time I fry the eggplants before putting them in the dish

    Di umabot sa picture ang steaks namin. 1" angus sirloin sous vide 54C for 1 hour then seared using a blowtorch.

    I was planning of something like that nga rin.
    Hassle nga lang din pag tumatambak na utensils mo kelangan hugasan after magluto.
    But I might still try that until ma-perfect ko yung sequence at timing ng mga veggies.

    Anyway, agree ba kayo na much better daw mga lalaki pagdating sa kusina?

    Plain salt and black pepper lang.

    Do not overcook the mushroom and vegetables.
