    Ribeye steak that was bought in S&R. Medyo napa-alat lang. I have gone generous with the salt and pepper and all went in with the butter. The mushroom gravy sort of washed off some of the saltiness. Reminder to brush off some of the salt next time.

    Pesto pasta. Both the sauce and noodles were made from scratch based on Italian recipes. Ingredients bought online. Iba talaga compared to bottled sauce and dried pasta.

    Hindi ako yung nag luto but yung bunso ko. Ginisang ampalaya. Ang sarap nya, malayo sa luto ko or luto ng panganay ko. Malutong yung ampalaya at hindi mapait masyado. I guess pag hindi over cooked ang ampalaya eh hindi mapait?

    I don't usually like ampalaya dahil mapait, but I enjoyed eating this one.

    Favorite ko ginisang ampalaya.. Yes po Sir Brat, wag po hinahalo ang ampalaya at hindi dapat over cooked.. Sa bahay, hindi na namin nilalamas sa asin tapos huhugasan sayang yung sustansya baka sumasama sa tubig..
    Basta hugasan lang bago hiwain at iluto..

    Ah pati pala pag halo nakaka pait. I've been cooking these for 20 years and I didn't know these tricks.

    That plus the fact that your old enough to have acquired the taste for it. Same goes with ginger, oh I hated this spice before, but now it's my magic ingredient.

    Naku yan ang di ko type din, isama mo na lemon grass kaya ayaw ko din mga "laksa" flavor na parang ganun din panlasa ko..

    Don't soak with water, wash it then Dry rub with salt then leave for few minutes, then hugasan ulit before cooking. Tama sila, wag halo ng halo kase papait talaga.

    Dagdagan din ang ilalagay na tomatoes pag ginigisa, para medyo tatamis sya matatalo ang pait.
