i am new to this forum and i have a question on Calibration. i have a 1999 fieldmaster with over 200,000kms with no overhaul so far. i have hard starts in the morning but when i get it running its back to normal. a mechanic said it needs to be recalibrated. (or change the glow plugs)
i read somehwere that diesel engines need to be recalibrated every 120,000kms. so what is the correct approach?

    hello dieseldude!

planning to replace the injection pump drive seal dahil may tagas sa likod ng timing gear case. wala nako makitang source ng tagas kundi sa injection pump lang.

isuzu 4JA1 naturally aspirated. not sure kung zexel or bosch...

i have no issues so far naman with regards to excessive exhaust smoke, acceleration, etc.

2004 dmax MT 4jh1. Starter cranks strong but engine wont start. Handbrake light lit even with parking brake disengaged. Battery light also lit at key on position. Is the lights some sort of code to identify the problem. Car died on the road while traveling about 40kph.

After 6 years lol.. got my clutch / pressure covet/ release bearing replace at 278000 km. Aisin for the clutch and Nachi for the release bearing. Ok na ok ang performance. Lumambot din yung clutch pedal. For FC , the mechanic in toyozu suggested na ipacheck nozzle tips sa 300000. If yung spray pattern and leak test hindi na mahabol.. time to get ORIGINAL nozzles na. Sabay na rin papalit sa timing belt

    sir dieseldude,

    TY

    20 X 31 X 7 or 20 X 31 X 6.8 are both OK.

Our 2-in-1 invention consist of an electromagmetic component and a electrostatic component.

Napansin ko, if after some time, I open the air induction hose, I notice so many dust clinging to the needle sharp transducers. Its difficult to brush this dust because they are negatively ionized. Baka pwedeng lagyan ng maraming metal mesh para gawing air intake cleaning system, don't you think? Thanks for this thread.

Since original car manufacturers don't produce a similar product for their cars such as yours, I don't see a need for it. A good intake air filter should be sufficient. It will also be easier to clean and/or replace.

Meron bang 100% effctive air filter?
