    1. I'm not sure about this sir...
    2. yung Micromagic MFs na tig-P88 gamitin mo nalang yan sa interior cleaning, IMO masyado maliliit yung fibers niya baka magasgas yung paint mo kung sa exterior mo gagamitin. invest ka nalang sa Mictrotex na MFs like Plush, UltraPlush or Terry, very much worth it...
    3. for light cleaning with protectant, get Microtex Sunshield instead of ArmorAll...

*jmalvin: I've sent you a copy of the guide

They buffed off the swirls, yes, but along with that your clearcoat got abraded. The importance of the clearcoat is further discussed in the guide.

Should note that Honda clearcoats are relatively thin... ingat sa pag gamit ng abrasive products.

that hydrophilic thing is probably a sealant of sorts. That is not going to last on its own.

    regarding your questions,

    1) better get a dedicated washmitt. it looks like a glove with "fingers" on it. a microfiber washcloth may not have enough surface area to safely remove dirt

2)that 3 for 88 micromagic MF cloth is best used for rough jobs and on the plastics. They are not as fine as the microtex MFs. In practice, the Microtex terry cloth is actually good enough for most waxes and QDs

3)there have been reports that armor all (at least the old formulation) caused cracking of their dashboard. AFAIK, the microtex sunshield has a different type of silicone oil in its formulation which should be better for the dashboard.

If you would truly like to play it safe (and get great results in the process), Mother's Protectant is a bit pricey (700 for a 700 mL spray bottle), but is silicone-free and gives a subtle gloss to the plastic.

try using a clearcoat safe cleaner such as KAIO.

if that fails, clay the area.

    if that fails, abrasives na

Kakatapos lang mag nanosliq. Nababawasan yung watermarks pag hinayaan ko mag stay ng ilan seconds yung QD sa paint, then do some wiping using Microfibre applicator pad. Yung watermarks sa car ko not visible anymore, pero kita sya pag tinignan sa side with the light reflections. Eto pala effect pag nag rough road drive pag kulang protections. I can tell that my Paint sealant from BigBerts is already out. Im ordering 476 from Autobisyo to wax my car. Hopefully it arrive before the weekends.

    * scharnhorst - doc i used Mom's CCW on my FD yesterday... bakit parang PITA siya i-buff off? probably nagsstick yung dumi sa wax? I also noticed, iilan lang gumagamit nito sa mga detailers... is Meg's cleaner wax better?

    TIA.

*tradewind: as I suggested beforehand. try a clear-coat safe product such as KAIO and clay first. It might still be from mineral deposits.

abrasive cleaner waxes include the products nina mom's at megs.

kung malalim talaga (etched na), you might want to opt for swirlX from megs

*cjv_justice: paste or liquid sir? sa megs liquid lang ata available.

Try using KAIO, it's most likely easier to buff off than mom's CCW (and clearcoat safe to boot)

Yung sa Meg's na CW me nakita nako both paste and liquid. I just got a little curious after reading up some of the threads na baka di maganda gamitin... Baka mas maganda gamitin yung Plush or UP...

the good part about it is that the paint feels so smooth after buffing, except for areas na puro tama na talaga with swirls, scratches and other things etched na sa finish. after I get back my camera I'll post a series of pics and ask for further advice from you guys...

Yung sa Altis naman I really love the longevity of Collinite 915...

Salamat.

could be. mahirap i-hand apply ang rubbing compound and polish pag matindi ang oxidation and watermarks.

other reasons could be nag ge-gel na yung product sa MF cloth na pinang bu-buff mo

    OT:

scharnhorst, thanks for the document procedure!!! Got it via e-mail.

Just to share, here's my cleaner's lineup:

    Microtex Car Shampoo.
Microtex NanoGlos Wax (testing it via the sachet).
    Mother's FX Speed Detailing.
    Microtex Tire Black.
Microtex Sun Shield (pang dash spray).
Microtex Washmit, Chamois, pink terry, purple glass cleaner and the "DUB" 3 for 88 pesos.

I own a black pickup, a month old pa lang siya. Any other cleaning/detailing products/materials I should get? I'm planning to visit raon pala for the blower, would you suggest I save money for a portable pressure washer (B&D type?).

    THanks in advance!

*fotonista: that's already a good starter kit, sir!

I'd suggest getting a booster QD such as nanosliq or Mother's FX Spray wax so you can use that if the nanoglos is still intact after a wash... and a good quality duster (either california or microtex).

If you need more paint protection, you can opt for a sealant like Klasse/Carlack68 or a tough wax such as collinite 476

for the pressure washer... if you find the water pressure in your area wanting, you can opt for a pressure washer. If the water pressure in your area is adequate, a hose with a nozzle is already good enough.

Pressure is our area sucks, lalo na pag sunday (lahat ata naglalaba)...

I already have the Mother's FX Spray Wax, do I need to make a "diluted with water" mixture of it for the daily maintenance or spraying directly will be ok na?

if that's the case, a pressure washer might be beneficial. AFAIK, you could also opt for a foam gun attachment if you have a B&D pressure washer.

No need to dilute mom's FX spray wax sir, but you can dilute Nanosliq if yun ang gamit mo.

For daily maintenance, it's best to first dust the car, wipedown with a cleaner QD, then gamitan ng booster/spray wax. That is kung hindi inulan or hindi sya soiled
