Rinse the car with tap water, then take a short drive - or use a blower - to blow most of the water away; it's not advisable to towel-dry if you're not sure that the surface is contaminant-free.

Kagabi nag car wash ako. Hindi pa ako tapos, naramdaman ko na uulan na. Pinasok ko Car sa garahe agad. Tapos yun na nga umulan na. Kaso natatalsikan ng patak ng ulan yung Ass ng Car ko... At ngayon na pa isip ako na bumili ng blow dryer para mabilis magpatuyo pag nag car wash ako. Kailangan ba blow dryer talaga, or ayos lang idrive yung car pagkatapos mag carwash?

bili ka blower sir, para sa crevices at emblems... di magkakaroon ng grime yung FoFi mo pag tinatanggal yung naiipong tubig sa mga parteng yon. hehe.

Collinite 476 on its own lasts around 3-4 weeks in the rainy season (pag hindi, kaya yan ng 3 months given the proper booster wax protection)...

that's why nagsesealant kami underneath para may 2nd layer of protection.

to further prolong the life of 476, apply ka ng booster wax (i.e. nanosliq, mom's fx spray wax, mom's reflections spray wax, etc etc.)

IMHO the best booster in terms of protection is OCW, which is already good enough on its own. hehe

Speaking of blowers, pinakamura na nakita ko sa malls ay P 1,900 yung Lotus brand. Ang layo ng Binondo eh

Note wala ako balak bumili ha, tingin tingin lang, hehehe.

Maraming blower sa sulit site, pero 1,200 lowest price n nakita ko.. Mag reresearch muna ako about sa blower para makakuha ng matibay tibay na brand, mahirap kasi baka mamaya wala pang 1year sira na.

ang problem ko lang with these blowers is that I might disturb the peace here... but will consider it.

I wash the car if there's a window without rain of even just an hour or so. Otherwise, I just rinse it with tap water, to (hopefully) get most of the acid rain off the car, then hope that my current layers of protection will prevent any watermarking or etching.

Hirap kasi nung pwesto ng car ko.. Kunting ulan nababasa yung likod. Kaya nag iisip pa ako ng diskarte..

Last tuesday i applied nanosliq, then OCW. Waited for 2hours then applied nanosliq again. So far nice naman ang results.. Hehe

anung magandang alternative sa Collinite 911.. Ang mahal pala ng benta eh.. Medyo lately napaisip ako sa mga prices ng gastos ko na..Kaya ngayon medyo need mag tipid..Hehe

good alternative would be 476.bought mine for P700 last year. not sure kung magkano benta ngayon.

sealants can be an alternative, pero usually mas mahal sila.

Definitely agree. A tin or bottle of Megs or Mothers costs more than 476, and would be less durable. Also, since the 476 is so durable, you don't need to apply so often, so it'll last you longer than other waxes.
