Both products would need plenty of MFs (iisa pa lang Microtex Plush ko, which is gamit ko for Nonosliq). For an SUV, ilan pa ang bibilhin ko?

Between the 2 Optimum products, parang Im leaning to the ONR kasi mas soaked yung auto. Tama ba assessment ko?TIA
yup. i'm much more comfortable using the ONR.

You can use ONR with a wash mitt - so the only towels you'll need will be for drying. For Opti-Clean, which is a waterless wash, you will need a lot of towels - around ten plus, based on how I do waterless washes.

available na ba ONR sa malls (Ace, Blade, Handyman, True Value, Concorde)?
No sir, Optimum Car Care products are not yet available in malls and in those stores that you have mentioned. You have to contact the distributor to get a hold of those products.

I myself was looking for Optimum Car Wax and Collinite 845. Thanks to sir umi, he referred me to sir Ed of Pinoy Detailing since I live in QC. With some research, I managed to find his number so I contacted him. Unfortunately, he didn't have 845 but he has the 476. Was really having 2nd thoughts of the 476 due to some people saying that it can be tricky and hard to use. He said it's almost the same as long as you don't apply thick. I gave it a go and ordered the 476 and OCWax. For some lucky reason, he had to pick up someone today in Shopwise along Commonwealth so we met there. Very easy to talk to guy. We talked for about 30 mins. He gave me some tips, lessons and a discount even if I am not a member of Pinoy Detailing.

You can try to contact him if you wanna purchase those products.

I just met sir Ed for the first time yesterday to get my OCWax and Collinite 476. Try to contact him, if you are in the QC or Caloocan area or sir Ravi if you are in Makati area. Or, since PIMS is this week, try going there for they might have Optimum products and you might even get a good deal.

Yes sir, I managed to find his number with a lot of searches here and in PD forum.

I initially wanted to get the 845 for easier application, unfortunately he didn't have it but he said just get the 476 since they're almost the same, just don't apply it thick. Then lucky me, he had to pick up someone in Commonwealth so we decided to meet in Shopwise. We talked for about 30 mins and he even gave me some tips.

Yea, Ed's a good guy - I've learned a lot from him. I'm a bit biased - I have a preference for paste waxes - but I'd say that you've gotten the better product; 476 is better than 845, durability-wise, and is easy enough to use, as long as you apply thinly (if you can easily see where you've applied, then you've applied too much).

I'd do steps 1 and 2, then 845. You can top with the Mother's step 3 afterwards, if you want. The general guideline is more durable product goes on first.

Isn't step 3 the carnauba wax? Or do you have both the paste and liquid pure carnauba waxes?

Ok. You can use the carnauba cleaner wax in place of step 1. I wouldn't use it on top of the other waxes, as it will strip them - that's what cleaner waxes do. Another possible use is to remove light watermarks that regular washing doesn't remove - it'll leave some protection behind until you can get to rewaxing the affected area.

Ah. I get it. So its:
    1. carnauba wax cleaner/step 1
    2. Step 2
    3. 845
    4. Step 3

Then i can use #4 every month siguro? Then #1-3 every 6 months? Tama ba?

    Detailing is very addicting hehe

Yeah, truly what others call him, a "master". Plus he didn't just give me the products after I payed instead, he even gave me tips on how to apply them then we talked about everything from waxes, shampoos, car wash shops, etc.

That's right. Make sure you follow the curing time of 845 prior to applying any wax on top of it. I think it's 4 hrs.

Step 1-3 every 6 months, I highly doubt that considering our weather and the road conditions especially in Metro Manila. Tops would be 2 or if you're lucky, 3 depending on how the water sheets or beads and how you prepared your car before you applied those.

Use QD's too not only to clean light dirt/dust but to enhance the shine.

Wow, you really shouldn't let them wax your trim - most waxes stain trim. I'd use a soft-bristled brush and some APC, see if that works.
