*crosswind: ScratchX 2.0 can be applied by hand or machine. gamit ka ng foam applicator pad or micro fiber cloth.

not sure if exactly same sila pero both are safe to use on new paint, i.e. contains no wax or silicone.

    compared to the 16oz bottle.

In a two-stage paint system, Top coat = Clear coat. It is colorless and is actually thicker than your base coat. If clear coat is gone, the base coat can be harmed. It will oxidize more quickly and will be prone to fade. Repainting the panel will fix this.

How to test if car still has clear coat? Wipe the panel with polishing compound or scratch remover or cleaner wax. If you find color on the applicator pad, then the base coat is already exposed. The color you're seeing is the pigment transferring from the paint to your applicator pad.

In photo below, the white applicator pad shows red pigments from the car. This means there is no clear coat.

confirm ko lang, anong wax ang gamit mo? if carnauba wax or sealant, then hindi pwedeng pang-test yan dahil wala silang abrasive components. cleaner wax or all-in-one, polish, and scratch removers ang options mo.

Mukang carnauba wax nga lang sir... If ever, pwede ko bang gamitin ang rubbing compound instead of polishing compound pang test?

    * bro red_one
since your active in this thread that states that you know alot about
    paints and detailing
    May I ask you
what's the difference of faded paint and oxidated paint and
how will I know if it's faded or oxidated?

Faded paint looks dull or dim.
Oxidized paint looks dull and cloudy/hazy. Some may also show sign of clear coat failure.

Faded paint and oxidized paint can be fixed by compounding and/or polishing.
Clear coat failure can only be fixed by repainting the panel. The problem is already IN the paint, not only ON the paint surface.

Faded paint. BEFORE and AFTER paint correction:

Oxidized paint. BEFORE and DURING paint correction:

Clear coat failure. Clear coat has turned white and started to flake off:
