A very economical cleaning QD would be ONR in QD dilution (1:16). The 8oz of ONR (PhP 460) would dilute to 136 oz or just over 4 liters of QD. That's just PhP 115 per liter - and it gets even cheaper if you get ONR in 32oz or gallon size. This is what I use for cleaning - not as much gloss as OID/GE, but I'm more assured with regards to its lubricity, given that ONR is specifically formulated for cleaning. And of course, you can always mix in some OID and/or OCW (and even Nanosliq) if you want some added gloss

In previous posts, even in PD talagang magaganda na talaga testimonials niyo ng ONR...

    >ok sige curious nako... say I'll be using this ONR to wash my car, pano dilution nito sa isang pail of water? I saw the vid sa AG parang 1:3 ata gamit niya sa timba. tapos isang pail pa for rinsing the mitt.

    >kung gagamiting cleaning QD, anong lalagyan yung 1:16 na mix?

    TIA

agree ako sa lahat na nagsasabi na maganda ang ONR.

since ginamit ko sya late part of last year e talagang sulit na sulit...

    magandang cleaner...

*loverlionus: sir, cleaning QD ang showtime, no need to fear as long as you saturated the area well with QD, the MF cloth was clean, and little to no pressure while wiping.

*cjv_justice: ONR user here. hehe. sulit nga in terms of QD.

1:16 cleaning QD solution : as it says, mist the area pwede na i-wipe
1:32 rinseless wash (o waterless wash ba yun? hehe) : anyway, you have to saturate the area well before wiping with an MF cloth (sir cjv_justice, eto yung pwedeng gawing pang linis ng buong auto)
    1:64 is clay lube

ONR is good, but it won't replace the good old shampoo + water. Hindi nya natatanggal lahat ng dumi, leading to premature loss of beading from waxes (due to a layer of dirt that stays on the wax)

*renzo_d10: try mo... haha once you pop you can't stop! kaadik

For the rinseless wash, dilution is 1:256 - 1 ounce for two gallons of water. Since I have a small car, I generally use just a gallon or so of water (more like 4 liters), so I add 16 ml of ONR to the wash solution. Some people use two buckets ( wash solution and rinse buckets), some people use just one, as ONR is supposed to encapsulate the dirt and make it drop to the bottom already. I usually use one bucket with grit guard, seems to work ok.

For the cleaning QD mix, I put it in a spray bottle, use as you would a standard QD.

ONR is 1:32 for waterless, 1:256 for rinseless. For waterless, you saturate the area using a spray bottle, then wipe with MFs. For rinseless, mix in a bucket, then use a wash mitt (or your preferred wash media) as usual.

IME, ONR is able to remove all the dirt from the car. What you need to do is ensure that you make multiple passes so all the dirt is picked up - a mistake I made when starting out was to assume that one pass with the wash mitt was sufficient to remove all the dirt and grime; this wasn't the case, which led to the impression that ONR wasn't cleaning the car thoroughly. After watching a lot of videos and reading on various forums, now I always do at least two passes with the wash mitt, three if the car is dirtier than usual; or if I'm doing a waterless wash, I keep on wiping with a fresh side of the towel until it comes out clean. Used properly, your drying towel should not be picking up any dirt.

    * doc scharnhorst, umi001, jmpet626 & dbhollanda...

as always, THANK YOU for your feedback on ONR. I took note of the mixes for every detailing chore.

I thought the some distributors are already negotiating to make these more accessible?

The truth is, I still want to get a pressure washer to clean my car. Besides may small garden pa naman that needs watering. Just like yung post ni doc, parang mas ok parin yung shampoo+water regimen for me at least.

Of course depende talaga sa mga factors that affect detailing our precious mistresses, este cars pala...

To be honest, I'd also prefer doing it with good 'ol shampoo and water - mas mura nga naman kesa sa ONR, and also I still feel more assured having a nice stream of water to wash away the dirt. Unfortunately, walang source ng water here sa parking area ng condo development namin, and even if meron, nakakahiya kasi nababasa yung mga katabing cars. So for my case, sobrang lifesaver talaga ONR.

Ah ganun pala. So for example, Carwash + collinite 476/OCW + Nanosliq/Qptimum Instant Detailer = good enough for protection...

yes its ok bro... pero remember its also important to prepare the paint finish and keep it clean before putting up a layer of carnauba wax( or sealant whichever your prefer), which is actually the way to go.

almost same din tayo ng procedure... pero I use cleaner wax muna before the Collinite, then OCW every other week with OID-GE.

Just got the Klasse twins from sir Ed, thanks sir! Got some practical tips as well, which may have already been posted before. The thought of using these is still pretty intimidating, will post when I finally get to use them.

Assuming malinis na yung paint surface 476s applied monthly is enough protection.

Heck, applying Collinite monthly is probably more than sufficient - it's just that people (like me ) can be a bit OC sometimes - and it's always nice to try out various products on your car, see which one you like best
