When you lock the vehicle remotely with a door ajar, 1 horn lang dapat mag-iingay eh.
How do you trigger the alarm?---- Lock the door using the remote then unlock it manually with your keys. when you open the door the alarm will sound.
paano po maginsert ng quote from the previous post?

November 25th, 2005 10:24 AM #1536I went with my friend last week to pick up his brand new Fortuner 3.0 D4D from Toyota Makati and went straight to Rats 4x4 on Sabio/Pasong Tamo to have his tyres changed to MTs (mud tires).
He replaced the original Bridgestone H/T 265X70R16 tyres with Bridgestone M/T 265X75R16. The 75 aspect ratio increased his ground clearance by 1 inch but it rubbed.
MK, owner of Rats 4x4 started crying - couldn't bear the sight of a brand new Fortuner (coming straight from the dealer) going under the knife . . . . . er, saw. We had to remove the mud guards and cut part of the front air dam to eliminate the rubbing.
His next 4x4 mods would be:
1. Remove the stepboards (need to buy running board scuff plates first) to improve the break angle since the stock stepboards would get bent anyway during hard trailing.
2. Replace suspension with ARBs once they become available locally.
3. Check if he still needs ARB air lockers for his rear differential. We're going trailing at High Peak (Mt. Tapulao) Zambales this long weekend - the trail to the top hasn't been totally cleared by C-Squared so we'll just go up to the first landslide or wherever the trail ends (been there 4 times already).
The Fortuner's 4x4 drivetrain is supplied by Torsen (suppossedly based on the same 4x4 system used by the Hummvee). So it should be very capable . . . . . . . . we'll soon find out.
below's the shaved air dam :

Wow! That must've been some surgery! Post ka naman sa Philippine Forum at the FortunerClub.Net. By the way, how is your friend doing with the attempts to fabricate a wheel well guard for the IMVs?
