sir mazda2, dapat talaga straight ang ipapagawa ko kaso nakikita ko sa rear view mirror. pina-weld ko ng flat bar sa round bar para maging rigid. medyo napraning na kasi ako sa mga thieves kay ko pinagawa.

I agree. We had a 1992 Corolla Gli 1.6 litre A/T with an engine power of 102hp. I would say that the Fortuner 3.0 can outrun the former a bit especially in highspeeds.

I was torn between santa fe and fort 2.5, Santa fe is more hi tech but also more expensive, but really dont like the exterior design of santa fe. Macho talaga yung Fort e....Gusto ko talaga macho ayyyyyyyyyy...........

Congrats with your new ride. Yes, the 2.5 litre is fast though it may appear that its poor in acceleration compared to gas fed engines. But the proper comparison should be made against the preceded 2.5 litre diesel engines (NA or turbo). Malayo ang difference nila from the 2.5 d4d.

For me the 2.5 d4d has enough decent power to overtake even in 2 lane national highways. Take it from me who has been driving a Mitsu L200 for 11 years na.

But having all-disc brakes creates more confidence, for example in traffic, that means moments of sudden brakings, another example is when you're fully loaded, 7 adults creates a LOT of additional braking distance but with the all-disc brakes, it gives you this sense of security that you are safe, that you can brake in time.

Yun nga lang, mahal siguro yung disc brake upgrade for the Fort.

I had mine adjusted sa casa. Braking power is just enough to stop sa big bodied Fortuner. Its just a matter of playing safe in the road. Just give enough space between your car and to the one in front of you. Even if the Fortuner is equipped with disc brakes pero tutok ka naman lagi sa sinusundan mo tapos abrupt lagi ang acceleration mo mababanga ka rin eventually. This is just based on my experience.

Actually I had mine adjusted sa casa na.. and after the incident all pads and shoes are replaced under warranty sa casa.. Actually the conversion of the drums to disc is an idea of a friend of my dad.. kasi he drives a durango and he keeps on bragging about its brakes and how good it is.. and the durango having a all disc set up gave us the idea.. Ang iniisip ko lang is that full load kame sa trip and mahirap na pag mapunta in a situation where abrupt braking is required.. dont get me wrong on this I love my fort and I have no qualms on it except for the brakes.. so I think I'll just bring it back to the casa to have it checked and re adjusted just to be safe..

Hmmm... Its better na pagawa and pacheck mo na kagad so that you would have time to test and observed the adjustments before your trip.

80th discount is true both for cash and financing. but this applies only to the old non-specup forts. Actually I got a quote last January 130th discount on the 4x4 and 120th discount on the gas. wala na sa 2.5D. If you want i'll refer you to the 2 SA's i talked to. PM me na lang.

I read in one article na nag-fail sa brake test ang fortuner sa Thailand. so, keep your distance na lang. We might also go to bicol this Holy Week. Kita na lang tayo dun.. Naga ba destination mo?
