walang pinagbago sa suspension.except lng sa emmisions..nag lagay sila ng catalytic converter sa exhaust system para euro 3 na daw..same suspension as the 1st fortuner na lumabas...

byahe ako bukas 5am, until december 25 lang ako dun...balik na rin manila for 1k change oil...sa ngayon 400 na odo, balikan sa daet is 364 times 2...just enough for a 1k scheduled change oil...hindi pala tayo magkikita dun......anyway....kindly tell ur dad na pag me nakita syang black fort w/o plate, magbusina lang kamo or flasher, usapin ko.....kindly tell my name bro

we are thinking of getting a second hand fortuner V. wat things should i look out for?

all i know for now is its 2006. 7000kms palang tinakbo.

does this hav cat converter already? any disadvantages w/out it?

AFAIK, all Fortuner variants come with catalytic coverter system.

as for catalytic converter,not all fortuner ata..those late 2007-2008 model are the ones who came with a catalytic converter,of course anything that blocks the exhaust from comming out fast will rob any turbo diesel engine from horsepwer,only advantage is cleaner emmisions...less power...

Kung 2006 model yung kukunin mo i think there's nothing to worry na because yung year model na yun ayos na yung d4d ng toyota. Well, maybe just read this thread if you wanna be sure.

Nakakita ako kanina ng Fortuner brand new no plates pero ang hindi ko maintindihan eh ang itim kaagad ng usok nung nilalabas nya. As in visible black smoke na parang smoke belcher. Deym! parang nilaspag kaagad yung makina pagka-labas sa dealer!

ang di ko lang maintindihan ay bakit walang middle aircon vents ang fortuner?? bakit po ganun?? yung kaibigan kasi namin may fortuner G at talagang naiinis ako kasi walang aircon sa gitna kaya sa harap ako umuupo.... grabe talaga... pero sabi naman ng mga kapatid ko mejo malamig naman sa gitnang upuan kaso parang mali pa rin ginawa nila sa fortuner na ganun.. bakit kaya?? meron naman aircon sa rear kaso sa bandang kanan lang... nagtataka lang talaga ako bakit ganun ang aircon vents ng fortuner...

mga fort owners, di ba masyado naiinitan mga passenger sa middle and third row?? bakit kaya di na lang nilagyan kahit 3 aircn vents sa middle na parang itchura ng sa avanza?? kahit papaano may aircn dba po??...

Baka overloaded then binibirit ng todo, kahit anong diesel may tendency talagang mag-puff out ng black smoke! Kailangan talaga ng extra care for a diesel car!

Wala namang reklamo mga sinasakay ko. I always ask them kung naiinitan sila pero sila pa nagsasabi na hinaan. Kahit nasa 1 lang malamig na sa 2nd row. Well, that's based on my observation kasi 1 time pinadrive ko sa pinsan ko yung unit ko and im seated at the 2nd row. Everything seems to be ok naman, balanced ang distribution ng air.

I bought my unit nov 06, they have 2 choices per variant( gas, 2.5 diesel, 3.0 4x4) it comes with or without leather seats /tailpipe finisher etc. for the non leather variant. the going rate for 2.5 diesel is about 1.36 million less 20k (correct me if i'm wrong) but the leather variant is 1.413million (no discount). i dont really know the price of a pre-owned unit now. btw, how much is the owner asking for?

some update lang po....i had already the 1k pms...changed oil....1200 inabot sa toyota balintawak, 6liters non-syn engine oil and new oil filter.........another 1200 plus and additives, hindi ko na pinalagyan ng additives...dagdag gastos lang yun..., well navotas to daet, at 350plus km, ay inabot ng 2k pesos, one way! ..........at 11hour trip.....dapat 7-8hour trip lang, eh sobrang traffic....ang dami umuwi sa probinsya......so siguro ang fuel efficiency calculation dapat ibase rin sa duration of trip, not only against the length of trip....

sa mga nagsasabing mayayabang ang driver ng fort.......may tendency ngang mapagkamalan mayabang, kase ang lakas ng hatak ng fort eh.......hindi mo maramdaman nag si-syento ka na pala......very easy to overtake some buses.......to fellow drivers,,,,,defensive/gentle driving lang tayo...ok!
