    Hello Guys,

Just want to get your opinion on the Comp. Insurance Quote that I got from Toyota Marikina c/o Security Pacific for my '07 E D4D MT Innova:

    Own Damage and Theft (P738K) - P10,889.25
    Bodily Injury (P200K) - P280.00
    Property Damage (P200K) - P830.00
    Personal Accident (P160K) - P376.00
    TPL - None
    Doc Stamps - P1,296.91
    VAT - P1,245.03
    Loc. Gov tax - P77.81
    AOG - P4,621.73
    Total Premium - P17,600.00

Last year P2K lang ang AOG, kaya mas malaki pa ang premium ko ngayon compared to previous year despite the fact na nagdepreciate na ang value ng vehicle?!?!

    attyallanatras,

Check your fuel filter. hopefully your fuel filter has done its job. kung madumi na papalitan mo na.

my Innova J D4D fuel system warning light just turned ON suddenly; its an indicator that has a drawing of a fuel pump with dots on the bottom; it is an indicator just beside the fuel gauge; sorry dont know what that sign is called about; am I just going to follow what is seen in Page 282 of the manual - Draining fuel filter water? what are the causes of that sign?

    tnx a lot...

Check the driver's side sunshade and it will tell you the same thing. Drain the fuel filter first and if the warning light stays, usually you should replace the filter but if under warranty, go bring it to the casa.

    Guys,

Naka-sked ako ng 25K pms this afternoon at Toyota Bicutan. Had changed to fully-synthetic oil last 20K. Talked to service appointment yesterday and they told me na need to do full change oil daw since last oil change was more than six months ago.Fully synthetic should be every 10K right?
Need your advise if ok lang na pa-top-up ko na lang, sayang naman yung oil ko ( mahal pa naman ) kung papalitan na eh 5K nagamit. Seems they are trying to force me to do the full change para kumita cla.

No need sir to change oil ulit. I suggest to do change oil every 10KMs since fully synthetic ka naman. Usually kasi average of 5KMs every 4 months for normal use. More than 6 months of 5 KMs should still be ok...
Pabor lang sa kanila yon if replace mo oil lahat.

i like the new color of the new released 2009 toyota innova; its like a shiny emerald green in color; only available for Innova E & G models only, i saw it in Toyota Alabang Showroom

if im not mistaken regarding change oil; if you are using mineral or non-synthetic engine oil, it is necessary to change your oil every 5k kms, but, if youre using a fully synthetic oil, changing of oil is 10k kms.

gosh, i had my ride checked in Toyota, and according to them this usually occurs on an Innova. So what I did was to change my fuel filter filament and cleaned the fuel filter; after cleaning, the fuel system, warning light still lit. accdg to the mechanic that I have to change mu fuel filter centimeter sytem, too bad they have no stock in the branch, goota order in advance and be back there next week...

what i forgot to ask is that if there is a standard time to clean the fuel filter; like changing oil after reaching a certain kilometers that we are indeed to change our engine oil.. will try to ask this when i go back in casa...

I am planning to get a new vehicle. originally altis o civic ang choices ko kaso si kumander gusto daw innova. sabi ko meron na kami revo pero gusto din daw niya innova.

Iyung innova gas-E variant lang ang kasya sa budget ko, kawawa ba talaga ang E in terms of features sa G? 100K din yata ang difference eh.

We just made reservation for innova E gas. Toyota dealer in our province don't give any freebies, aside from the promo that they advertise for the reason that they are the only dealer in the province and no competition. Aside from the SRP there is a plus 20,000 ++ for the freight charge. I just wonder if the dealer there in NCR gives freebies another than the advertise promo. tnxs

yes they do. was offered for tinting including the front windshield but waived it and negotiated for trunk tray, window visor and mud guard plus the usual floor matting and seat covers.

Actually I got mine (inno J Gas) almost two weeks ago. My SA called me one day before he sent it thru solid shipping (Mindanao area kasi) that the usual freebies were removed since the P40K he gave me was more that what is allowed. But I did not believe him, I really demanded that the freebies in his quotation should be included. He finally gave in to my demands. Just to share my experience.
