Yes A_eYe, so far no problem on my end on the engine, but have some minor problems only like creeking sound underneath, which they fixx by re-tightening bolts on the chassis/underneath area of my ride... Until now everything is a-ok so far.... ang sarap pa ng hatak... cant wait to use it again on NLEX on all saint's day next week... to try it after undegoing 5k PMS...baka maka-180 na ngayun....j/k...

The best way to solve your friends problem is to bring it to casa then inform us whatever the SA told your friend on his problem.... SO we can get a better comprehension on what really causing all this problem to D4D.... We need to collect data first then tally it accdg to diff solution that was done to remedy your problem...

Hi Guys,
Just got my Innova J Quicksilver MT yesterday from Toyota Makati. Ang sarap talaga ng bago! Anyways, me comment lang ako sa steering wheel kasi hindi ito naka align kahit na diretso lang ang takbo. Well madali namang ayusin ito kaya lang bakit kaya ganon? I am still trying to get used to driving a big car kasi puro sedans lang ang na da drive ko. Its good to have a forum like this...napaka informative...

Congrats on your new ride! Minor problem lang yan. You will get used to it basta gamitin mo lang palagi. Ako naglalagay pa nga ng throw pillow sa seat para mas maganda ang view ko ng kalsada. Ang sarap kasi pag kita mo lahat ng nasa harap mo while driving my innova. Downside lang is when i drove my sedan. Feeling ko nakalubog ako coz napakababa. Lalo pang mas mababa ang feeling ko coz my sedan also has a dash visor.

samin din when we got our innova E hindi din aligned.. pero bnalik din namin in a few days and inayos nila.

guys, san pla mura na chrome handle cover and mirror cover?

nagtanong nko dito sa aranta avenue, 700 for the handle, 900 for the mirror... mura naba un?

Larshell, kala ko po naayos na innova d4d nyo... cra nanaman ba ulit?? may mga major engine parts ba na pinaltan?? I know it sucks to have a defective or would be defective unit. yung samin e papasasabayan ko ng group prayer sa blessing ng sasakyan ayaw kc d2 samin ng gas variant(maybe due to it's resale value issues) kahit na I insist na marami na nagkakapoblema sa d4d engines specifically innova's. i'll just keep my finger cross and hope we'll get a non defective unit

Yes, for now my unit is ok but Toyota QA told me to observe and symtoms may come back after couple of thousand km. No major parts available but they already order the parts and after two weeks or a month baka dumating then they will let me decide if i still want to change the parts.My situation is really giving a headache.I envy you coz you still have a choice not to buy Innova D4d engine.

Ok lng yan larshel, atleast mataas resale value ng sasakyan mo dahil diesel engine. wag mo lng ipapaalam sa buyer yng history ng car mo. hehehe...
Btw. ayaw ng family ko ng gas variant kht na cnabi kong marami na namomoblema sa diesel. bhala cla. pera naman nila yon!

Sa palagay ko in the near future just like 4jx1 Trooper Innova Diesel will suffer low resale value Imho

Hi Guys,

Im planning to change the stock rims of my tires. Oks ba yung 17" na mag wheels? Rota yata ang magandang brand eh. Have to change the tires also. Ano ba ang recommended na laki na mag wheels na hindi ma co compromise yung performance ng innova natin?
