sir, pareho tayong innova variant, how were you able to make your battery last that long considering your mileage..... linis terminal lang ba and add distilled water....sana umabot din ang battery ko ng ganyan katagal....also is turning on the aircon an issue for our batteries or leaving the rear blower at one without switching it off before i turn off the engine a factor too...

    happy new year everyone !

    cheers!

Wala naman akong ginagawang special. Every month, I check the water level pero lagi naman tama ang level. And I haven't topped it up since I got my ride. I supposed it's being topped up during the PMS.

Recently, I noticed the white substance on the terminal and bracket. I just poured water and cleaned it.

    BTW, the brand is Oriental.

i had mine both changed already, my steering wheel dia is a little bit smaller than the original. Smaller steer wheel not recommended coz it covers your sight to the clearance signal. If you plan to change it, buy those same diameter as the stock steer wheel.

    Hey Guys!!!

Those with Gas Innovas, how far can you go on a liter of gas? is it a guzzler? what are the common problems you've encountered over the past year or two of usage? things like rattles, squeaking or something? What are your experiences with G or V variants(good and bad)?

    thanks!!!

Wow! 1year and 10 months not bad. 37,000 mileage that is good.
My mileage now is 20,000km. Is it safe to say that i still have 17,000km to go to change my battery? Isn't that the lesser you use your car the quicker you'll need to change your battery?

    * jam2 and ReccaH... the shop's name is Aaron Samuel located at Banawe near E. Rod Ave. I'll try posting their contact number by tomorrow

    * nxn... AFAIK, puro accessories lang ang meron dun sa shop nila

    * bongliza... thanks for the info re: steering wheel change. At least I've an idea if I do decide. Basta same diameter as per your advice.

--still haven't decided to go for these "upgrades", maybe by the end of January.

    * forum vets dito sa thread ng innova, baka pwede ulit kayo magposts ng pics ng innovas ninyo (as well as the "upgrades" you made with your rides)?

Let's keep this thread alive and kicking hehehe...

    WBR,
Normal battery life is about 2 years. If your car starts sluggishly on cold mornings, it's time to replace it.

To maintain, just make sure that the water level is always right.

Yan din ang alam ko kaya lang may konting paghina ng start up sa umuaga. Mahirap kasi na ma drain ang battery dahil a/t yon sakin. Thanks

    Thanks for mentioning this..

Last dec I got the HP Ipaq 6515 PPC, phone in one with built-in GPS receiver, I installed MapkingV10 in it and was VERY HAPPY with it, It can tell exactly where you are right now in that moment. and when I'm crusing at NLEX, it also registers my speed when travelling (eg. 100kph), Bad news is the map only offers metro manila and some small outlying areas of MM. HTH..

also if you want travel directions, it also has ROUTING directions and matching sound like " turn left at 200m/next intersection" from the Mapking software. very useful also if are looking for a prticular street then it will give you directions...

bro.... yes i also recently fixed up my innova j, got it end of nov 06. fog lights i have seen 2300, mudguard, dalawang klase... one with the word innova and the other without.... but i assume not painted pa ito right... but fair na yung price na yan....do some research lang on the power windows sa front, i talked with the electricians from the toyota c5 dealership and they said that hindi raw tumatagal yung after market power windows, better get the original bec nag kaka problema sa brackett yata dahil masyadong mabigat yung salamin, but just ask around first..... sayang din kasi yung 4k...
but over all the prices you posted are within the range... i got my back up sensors for php 1500 at c3 shop in banawe. the door moulding cost me php 2200 pero body color na.... the uncolored ones are abt php 1500 i think...rain visor (deflector ang brand) php 850.....

good luck and enjoy dressing up your innova....i almost forgot yung chrome handles are php 450.....

    cheers
