Sir, may bago bang ilalabas na model ang innova? kelan kaya? Thanks
Hi tsikotpeeps and Innova Owner's there! Ive got a Innova "G" M/T and just got it 3weeks ago.
Ask ko lang mga Peeps if sinusunod paba yung mga break-in methods na kailangan di ka lalagpas ng 60/kph pag bago pa yung car mo? di pa pwede ihataw? and about sa GAS consumption naman pag naka standby lang me or in parkmode tapos naka on lang makina and aircon bakit feeling ko mas dun malakas umubos ng GAS but while in a long drive it seems di malakas uminom ng Gas? :D ganyan din ba observation nyo sa innova gas nyo? TIA
I did not do any break-in, I just use it day to day home-office-home. You will feel more Fuel efficiency in your 2K period. I'm doing a 10-11Km/li (Shell unleaded) on city driving (Commonwealth-EDSA-Makati) with 9 yappies on boardI just maintain cleanliness on the interior day by day and complete vacuum on weekends. I did upgrade my oil to fully sythetic on the 15K PMS and engine runs very smooth and less noise.
Naturally you will feed more gasoline to your engine while on park mode, your engine will get hotter when not moving and will tend to rev more to cool down the radiator, your aircon will also work harder when on park mode.
Just follow the prescribe PMS schedule and your car will be ok.
HI!
Just got an Innova last saturday at Ortigas...
It's an Innova E, M/T, Diesel, Light Green Mica
The wife and I waited for a month for this (due to the color). AFAIK, This is also the new version... Euro 3 compliant engine with Airbag (for the driver only)!
It's priced at P912,000.00 (P5,000.00 higher than the previous one)
This is our first car. So we have it blessed last sunday and drive it home to pangasinan (my wife's place). Then drove it yesterday to Isabela (where I work).![]()
All I can say is that it's a GREAT RIDE! Really worth the value for your money.
I also have thanks and praises for all the innova peeps who contributed to this thread. I have read from pages 1 to 270 only! Grabe! Dami niyong matututunan.
Thanks guys! Keep it up.
Trebuchet,
Yes Innova for me is also a great car for long driving, been there to Isabela, Quirino, and Aurora a couple of times already using this car and I will admit that it is really comfortable and I don't feel tired driving this alone over the stretch. Before we use to go there using our old Lancer itlog and also i'm the only driver and I feel terribly tired.
Good choice that you got an Innova :![]()

I really appreciate it.

Yup! I kinda know how you felt. I used to drive a Nissan Eagle (company car) from pangasinan to isabela. It's a 5-6 hr. trip. It's ok, but most of the times I get tired and dizzy from the trip due to the bumpy ride. And I used to consume half a tank for the one-way trip.
But from yesterday's trip with the innova, I didn't felt tired and I didn't get dizzy. What's more is that I only consumed 1/4 of the tank!!!

Zeroc00l_7: congrats sa ride mo. good choice ang innova. depende na sa iyo kung ano ang gusto mong type ng break in as other forumers mentioned. happy driving and enjoy the ride.
Zeroc00l_7,
I also asked the casa what's the proper way to "break-in" the innova?
Their advice... drive it normally like how would you drive, BUT don't go over than 100 kph. You may go over than 100 kph but don't stay too long.
That's what I did.
Zeroc00l_7, Trebuchet: excellent choice on the Innova.you may want to join us sa EB on Oct. 6, 2007, 5PM, at McDonald's Macapagal.

oh i get it! :D thanks men for the reply. but regarding in PMS or doing an OIL CHANGE because i will have the First Change OIL in 1k KPH on my odometer. still in 500+ but somebody told me that its not advisable to use FULL SYNTHETIC if your are not racing your car because full synthetic its easily to burn-up, so its advisable to use the regular oil and just follow the scheduled Change OIl on your Booklet :D cheers! :D
Thanks for the REPLY man! :D
