mga bro sorry pero mahaba ang thread meron kaya pwede mag detail ng fuel consumption ng diesel and gas engine ng innova. planning to buy one pero mukhang meron problem ang diesel. so compare kng ok lang ang consumption ng gas vvti. TIA

You could use the SEARCH. Mine is gas: 8 km/li sa traffic; 11 km/li sa highway.

gud am. may question lang ako. unit ko d4d G m/t . ODO is 2500++ nagtest drive ako going North. speed ko umabot ng 130km/h i just noticed pag 100km/h ok pa yung tunog ang engine di pa gaaano dinig. pero once 110+ na may vibarttion na akong nararamdaman sa flooring, sa manibela sa gas pedal. nag mag reach kasi ako ng 130km/h maingay na yung makina para akong nabibingi sa ingay. ang tigas na ng tunog ng engine kala mo bibigsy. Parang hirap though may ibibigy pa yung apak ko pero di ko na ginawa. sa road naman wala problem kasi di ko nararamdaman. pero yung engine grabe kala mo hinde bnew yung unit ko ang ingay! or ganun ba talaga diesel?! i know maingay ang diesel pero in this case dapat di ganun kaingay di ba? kasi bnew and dapat comfortable and hinde ganun kaingay loob kasi sealed ang unit for vibration di ba?!

talagang when you reach 100 an increase of noise level will be observed because of turbo kick off. not sure with the excessive vibration

tnx lexus. d4d din ba unit mo? vibration sa flooring and pedal ang malakas and ung engine matigas ang tunog when i reached 130. maingay sa loob even mga sakay ko dinig ung ingay ng engine sa loob. normal lang ba yun? i taught pag bago wala ka masyado dinig ingay becoz sealed and may designed sila for that.

Hello guys,

Just an update with my innova, the km reading is now around 150, I tried to increase my speed gradually upto 100kms then tried to increase it further....One thing I have noticed is that the engine is having difficulty accelerating after 90kms...i dont know kung dahil breakin period pa siya but I was disspointed with the engine power at high speed. Acceleration from 0 is ok. hhhmm......This is the first 2.5l diesel engine that i owned and I am quite dissapointed that it lacks power at hi rev. When i got to a hundred the rev is at about 4k rpm na and if im not mistaken lapit na siya sa red line which shows that the engine could only go 120-130 tops and cannot go faster or else you will break your engine. Another thing at 120kph i expect that the rev will still be low and hindi hirap ang angine pero hindi eh, the engine is already at high rev and I think the vehivle is not capable of high speeds, dapat binaba nalang nila speedometer to 160 or lower. Well anyway, my patrol safari can go flat out 160-170kph na walang hirap sa engine. I just hope that the innova will improve after the breakin period.

marlon ithink we have the same problem. did you felt any vibration sa pedal, sa manibela, and flooring. i also notice nag din yung rpm nasa 4 na when 130km/h ko. dissapointed din ako. may odo is reading 2600 na. i cant accelerate na up to 120 becoz of the sound ng engine parang sasabog. see my post sa last page or march 28 ang date. i want to know bout your innova performance these days. tnx

bring your unit to your dealer. they should replace your hu. fujitsu identified already the problem. yung cd deck ang may problema. i experienced this problem yesterday. nag error 1 pag play ng cd. just turn off the hu and when i turn on, ok na uli. twice ito nangyari. my friend ako sa fujitsu and sabi nya cd deck nga daw problema. i'll just bring my unit sa 15k PMS ko para papalitan hu. almost 14K na ODO ko kasi.

thanks july23. yung sa akin kasi merong ibang cd na kahit patayin ko yung HU e error pa rin. dalhin ko na rin pag 15k PMS kaso malayo pa dahil 12k pa lang. medyo kumonte ang byahe ko ngayon. last jan lang ako nagpa 10k PMS. sinusunod nyo ba yung recommendation ng toyota na 3 months or 5k whichever comes first? kung ieestimate ko e baka mga june pa ako ako mag 15k or 5 months after my last PMS.

better follow TMP manual guide, you may use the 3 mos, normally advise nila for those owners who often use their cars but not meeting the required distance travelled. its better to be safe. Yung problem mo sa HU better report it to your agent, they will replace the cd deck or the cd lens only depending on the test result. normally a week or two na wala kang HU.

question lang po. is anyone here ang nakapag visit sa showroom ng toyota calookan between from Nov to Dec. if meron, did anyone see the toyota innova E variant (mica beige) na naka dress-up (naka display sya)? itatanong ko lang po kasi kung anung brand ng tire ang nakakabit using rota VXR 17". i think its yokohama 45R pero im not sure about the model e. also ung mga skirt nya walang bulto s paligid. skirt lang sya sa front, rear and side. which is nice tignan. if you happen to see that pls share nyo naman yung sa tire and skirts. balak ko kasi bumili. tnx.
