Even aircraft tire they are using nitrogen .So even you go for high speed no problem .

Kaso the Innova doesn't even go half as fast to maximize the advantages of Nitrogen.

Local temperatures are also relatively stable [for a tire, at least] between night and day.

But wala din naman bad effect ang nitrogen.

Just browsed thru the thread re: D4D engine woes, medyo grabe ung na-experience nung isang fortuner owner. Nag-stall while he was driving sa NLEX! I hope that doesn't happen sa innova D4D owners... lalo tuloy na-cement yung decision ko to go for the gas variant. Swerte lang din kami coz we have gas allocation as a benefit dito sa office. So medyo no issue yung fuel consumption (unless bawiin)...

    Go for the Gas Variant.

Mine is G-VVTI M/T. My fuel consumption now average 9.0 Km/li on mix city and highway (this includes EDSA traffic on morning and evening - Makati to Kamuning and vice versa)

I was getting 7.6 km/li during the first 4 days and gradually reached 9.0 Km/li after reaching 1000kms.

You will save around P50,000 on the unit retail price (D4d over VVTI) and that savings can be use to catch up with the difference on fuel cost of gasoline over the diesel price. Let's say 3-5 years depending on how far you'll get and your driving habits.

After 3-5 years, considering the same condition of Gas and Diesel. The resale value of D4d is still higher than vvti...
    my personal opinion.

Hi! I went to the casa last saturday to have it checked. sabi ng service supervisor normal daw yun so i requested na mag compare with other units na nandun. we set the fan speed and thermostat setting ng magkaparehas and then we timed it using a stop watch. apreho nga sila so i guess normal nga. mga 9:00 am yun under the shade and the compressor sitches on for 5-6 secs and switches off 13-15 secs. pareho e so ok lang. bayad ako 16 pesos for the basahan na di ko naman nakitang ginamit hehe. Ok lang tip ko na sa kanila yun.

    my personal opinion.

There is a BIG possibility by that time Gasoline will be cheaper than Diesel. So yong resale value baka mabaliktad. But that is just im own opinion.

sir larshell, i'm of the impression that you're working in the oil industry and i am inclined to believe your words not only because of your profession but also because of the apparent global trend to go diesel.. as most may notice, the price of diesel over the years has been slowly creeping near gasoline prices while it already cost more in other parts of the world. i guess, laws of economics at play here

sir j_avonni, i respect your view that it seems very remote considering the devastating effect this may have on the local public transport sector..

EDIT: :ooops: sorry po kung sobra :offtopic:
