Is your unit a D4-D? If so, you might want to read about the problem in this thread

sir inoba, ganyan din nangyari sa unit ko... nagpost ako dito sa tsikot about the same problem... my unit is gas AT... but after that incident up to now naman its so far so good... hindi na umulit yung problema... yung innova mo yata nagpepersist yung problema kaya siguro dapat ibalik mo sa casa and let them test drive your unit...

ang daming freebies, wow! it's either you're a tough negotiator, or your sales agent is desperate.

Hi guys! Just came back from Toyota QAv for my 10K PMS. They informed me that my axle is included in the recall so I had it replaced. (at no cost to me since under warranty pa.) BTW, the axle assembly cost P20,749.11 so better check with your dealer if yours is included before its too late. My Jan 2006 Innova E's frame/chassis no. is KUN40 A5005935.

I was haggling with the service advisor if he can install the inner wheel liner (front right wheel well) for free of course, but to no avail. Said it can be bougt from their accessories section.

Swerte nung mga bumili ng unit na kasama na yung inner wheel liner. Kainggit talaga.

Hi guys! I just signed up to this site after I got interested in buying a new car. After so much thought and consideration, I have decided that I will buy the Toyota Innova 2.0G Gas A/T. I must say that this site really helped me in coming up with this decision. So thank you guys.

    I have some questions though:

    1. The dealer is giving me an additional 20K discount on top of the general 40K discount if I buy the non-spec-up unit of Innova. From what was explained to me, the only diff with the spec up models are the wheel well cover and the new design front grille. How much would it cost me to buy the wheel well cover? Would it be advisable to just get the old unit? After all, we're talking about 20K. I could use the money to buy some accessories.

    2. I have contacted several dealers of Toyota to compare their prices. I found out that each has their own price for the insurance. I really don't have any idea how much would be the insurance for the Innova 2.0G Gas A/T. Any advice?

    3. Just wondering how many of you got their financing from TFS. I visited the TFS site http://www.toyotafinancial.ph and they have this budget calculator where you could work out your own financial scheme. The add on rate that was calculated from the TFS site was very much lower that the ones offered by the Toyota dealer. I wonder how did they come up with that. I mentioned this to the dealer and he has no idea about it.

    4. What kind of freebes should I bargain with the dealer aside from the usual tint, matting and seat covers?

    Thanks in advance.

    1. If I'm not mistaken, ~3,500 yung wheel well cover.

    2. Mas mainam kung sa labas nalang ang insurance. Hindi ako familiar sa proseso, hintay nalang muna tayo ng ibang inputs. To give you an idea, recently nakatipid kami ng 50,000 sa insurance. Yung isang manager kasi parang take it or leave it ang offer, kanya dapat ang insurance (may kita kasi siya dito). Yung isa ok lang na sa labas, basta sa kanya kumuha ng unit.

    3. Hindi ba mas ok sa banks ang financing? If I'm not mistaken, East West ang may pinakamababang offer nitong huli.

    4. If I'm not mistaken, binigyan kami ng 10% off sa parts & labor (may card) ng isang Nissan dealer.

    :D

IMO the previous promo is has almost the same value with what the agents are now selling.

    The previous promo has:

    Free 1 year Comprehensive Insurance P39,266 for G 2.0 A/T + Free 3 years TPL P 1,800 + and 25K discount. = P 66,066

The higher the model you get the higher the Free Conprehensive Insurance the buyer gets. I think this is the reason why they drop the previous promo.

But from the previuos promo I get the variant that has the wheel well cover already.

In my experience, they don't give any freebies aside from the standard freebies. BTW for me I did not take any of the standard freebies, I just exchange it with other accessories. I did my tints outside casa so I be dealing with the tint installer directly if there is problem, my matting is DIY. I don't want seat cover I prefer the original look of the G Variant seats.

    hi guys.

I ordered a white j variant innova this week. AFAIK the insurance is 19k. LTO registration 3ys is 7.5k

The dealer gave me 75k discount (corp accnt kasi) and i got back up sensors and key less entry and that luggage mat at the back from the agent?

I couldnt believe it! I thought i would nt be able to afford the innova because it was way above my budget but i couldnt say no to the dealer. Soon as i get my Purchase Order, i will let you guys know how the car is!

I thought i was going to get the avanza spec J and i was able to upgrade for a little bit more to the innova....laki kasi talaga at pam pamilya o negosyo yung innova!

Any ideas what to add next to the innova?

Would installing fog lights be a good idea give that the right side fron fender has no wheel well cover, hindi kaya masira lang yuing fog lights ko?

    TIA

Hello mga Innova brothers, i'm a newbie in buying a car. I've decided to buy an Innova G DSL M/T and the unit will be released this coming thursday. Could you please give me some tips, things that i should know in terms of documents, paperworks, paying the DP, etc,... as in square-one type of briefing on things to watch out for. Aside from the unit itself, the ongoing discount of 40k, free tint, rustproofing, seat covers, and matting, the agent that i'm dealing with also offerred me an additional 20k worth of free accessories. Siguro to fast track my purchase of the unit. Right now kasi sabi nya di available yung Night Mist so, offer nya yung Red with the freebies that i mentioned (siguro naghahabol ng quota for the month hehe.) Anyways, i plan to go there tomorrow, wednesday, and make the downpayment (should i do the DP even if the unit will be released the following day?). Zero knowledge pa kasi ako eh.. hehehe any inputs will be highly appreciated.

If I were to have a J specs I would add a 3rd brake light or a rear spoiler with the 3rd break light as safety. Next is the tire lock / chain for your spare tire because it is easily stolen.

With the fog light I don't think you would have any problems with it except if you go thru floods thats reaches your headlights. Naturally the fog lights will have moisture and water. I own a G spec model and I have been using the car trhu floods below the bumper and since I don't have the wheel well cover nothing has happened yet to the fog lights.

I would suggest you make the downpayment earlier para may time for the cheque to clear. And that you won't need to wait long. But if the dealership is far just do it on the same day.

When you receive your unit start checking if there are any scratches, dents, difference in color in any panel. Then check if the cigarette lighter, tools, jack, spare tires are there. These are the things that I check before leaving the dealership. So that if you find any physical defect you can immediately complain. But normally there wont be any When I bought my innova i went to the dealership 5 days in advance for my cheque to clear. I live in san juan but my dealership was in bicutan. Big discount so I didn't mind the travel. Also the funny thing the sales lady was already asking when I can get the unit and if I can't get it they will deliver. But I refused the delivery so I can physically inspect the unit. And one more thing since they did you tint while in the dealer's lot look if there are any bubbles so they can remedy it. And last enjoy your brand new innova you will definitely enjoy driving it, using it, and owning it
