Have you ever wonder regarding the difference about the 5K and 10K PMS of Toyota regarding our INNOVAS?

10K = 995 labor only but includes checking of Brake drums and linings and tightening of bolts.
5K = 445 or 550 labor only.

Pero sa 5K, minsan mas mahal pa ang babayaran mo kasi they will include a Php 400 fee for inspecting the brake drums and linings. + Php 75 for tightening of bolts. tsk! tsk!

They sometimes put a php 385 for a Tune-up package. Ang tanung ko lng, since I mostly observed the activities done in casa Marikina, wala nmang ginagawa sa tune-up package eh. Tsaka may tune-up ba sa D4D?

Kung titignan ung manual, every 10K dpat ang check-up ng brake drums and linings. Tsaka optional din to based dun sa leaflets ng 'express maintenance service' usually given by P.Tamo branch.

If someone is expert of these optional packages being add up by toyota service advisors, please share you knowledge. Thanks.

I'm wondering why you have labor cost for 5K checkup? 1K and 5K labor checkup is free of charge including body wash. For 1K and 5K you will only pay for 6 li. mineral oil, oil filter and miscellanous. My 1K cost me P1,200+ at TMBC and my 5K cost me also P1200+ at TMC. Mine was a gas variant.

My 10K cost was P2,900+ for 4 pc. spark plugs, 6 li. mineral oil, oil filter and miscellanous, brake pad cleaning and tire rotation. Inclusive of labor cost P1050 and VAT. This done at TMC.

Usually the SA will offer you a lot of services like body wash, engine wash and some other maintenance works that can be DIY or be done outside casa, just politely decline for it will add up to the cost of your PMS.

Concentrate on the things you think should be replaced during the warranty period, like leaky shock absorbers, loose A-pillars, stereo system, door mechanism and most important, the engine.

OT lang po mga peeps. Nawala power ng Radio and Clock ng car ko. I already checked/changed the fuse, ayaw pa din. Saan kaya ang problem? Was there anybody here who had this problem before?

May nakapagkabit na ba ng additional speakers sa rear trunk?

I have the original G setup of six speakers, gusto ko sana maglagay ng active sub woofer with enclosure sa likod. Nagrereklamo kasi yung nakaupo sa 3rd seats wala daw sounds.

Puede ba DIY, madali ba dismantle ang Stereo natin at ng makita ang wires sa likod ng HU? or any shop you can recommend na marunong mag-install na hindi masisira ang mga plastic panels/covers sa dashboard or sidings.

TIA,

good day to everyone... mga peeps let me welcome myself as one of the many owners of Innova... i got mine last march 30, 2007 G variant 2.0 Vvti M/T 2007 model with light green color... they give me 40K discount with freebies of matting, seat cover, 3M tint for the whole car, front and rear chrome cover, rain visor and umbrella... i added door chrome cover, exhaust cutter (stainless sa may tambutso, hindi ko alam kung eto nga tawag doon) and gas cover... ibinili ko na rin ng rubber matting kasi medyo madaling magdumi iyong free matting... i could have it on the first day but i got it on the 2nd day direct from casa because i told them to put the tint first... i drove it only for 18 days inside the city, no chance to drive for a longer trip outside... lots of things to do but very short vacation... maybe next vacation... my first FC is 6.1 km/l only (183/30)... tama ba eto o malakas sya sa gas??? i plan to add all around skirt, rear spoiler and roof rail when i came back next month... any suggestion for other accessories for our Innova??? the car was so cool... we're very happy to have it... happy driving to all.. ingat lang po… cheers…

TIA,
Same planned with me. May mga speakers na nga ako (Rockford Fosgate, 8" & power amplifier) with box enclosure designed to fit the sidings which will not affect the back space. Kaya lang, tinakot ako ng casa na in case na may masira sa stereo system, mawawala ang warranty. Tutal ok naman ang sound, I'll just wait for the right time to fix it.
You can do one thing not to void the warranty. Fix the speakers and amplifier separately from the system. Use FM modulator and receiver to activate your new system. As long as you don't touch the original wiring and HU, the warranty will still be the same.

Hi and welcome! I have the same variant except in flaxen color. I got it March 16. My first full tank FC was around 6.3km/l. The second full tank is turning out to be a little higher probably 7.0-7.3m/l.

Cheers!

H! Can you post a pic of your speaker enclosure? Was thinking of having a sub installed that wouldn't eat up too much space... and changing my head unit etc. I don't mind losing the warranty for the sound system but will do that when I have more disposable funds...

The effective box resonance frequency will be tuned * 42 hertz using 8” subwoofer speaker Rockford Fosgate type: P18S4, 150/300W or P28S4, 150/300W. The internal box volume is designed * 1,123.20 cubic inches. With your help (see attached picture), kindly provide the maximum dimensions available for both sides of the back compartment. The minimum required bottom & top depth must not be less than 6 inches & 4 inches, respectively.
On the left side, hydraulic jack compartment is equipped. Pls. provide also the cover dimensions just enough to open. Irregular box shape is acceptable as long as the required volume is met.
Please, I need also your comments and help to succeed on this project.
Mile2: I posted the above some months ago before I went back home for a vacation. I personally checked the dimensions and the target volume is feasible. Though the actual implementation has not been carried out, you can proceed with the idea. The actual shape of the enclosure will be made irregular to comply with the actual shape of the back compartment. What is important is, the actual internal volume must corresponds to the designed volume requirement of the speaker. This volume varies with different sizes and manufacturers. The attached picture was my proposed location.

Base on my experience with 2.0 vvti M/T it would gradually increase your FC much more if you travel it on long journey during breakin period. My 0-1K was 8km/li, 1k-5k gradually reaches 10-11km/li on city driving. BTW I'm using mineral oil ever since and regular spark plugs that was replaced a month ago during my 10K PMS.

Hi Busy Road,

Thank you for the insight. I already have an active Bosch speakers with small enclosure that was used in my PC and it sounds so perfectly with hard pounding bass. I'm just planning to put it in the back trunk like plug and play. All I need right now was those audio wires and 12volts wires via the auxiliary outlet extended to the back with sockets so that during PMS, I'll just unplug them.

It just that I don't know how to dismantle the stereo from the dashboard Can anyone recommend a shop that can be trustworthy handling those plastic panels.

sorry..
I mean 5K and 10K series of PMS.
I have been to different branches like, P.Tamo, Makati and Marikina.
Tip: the tire rotation maybe done for free basta mapapakiusapan mo ung technician.

you may opt to using fully synthetic habang bago pa makina mo. ramdam mo tlga ung difference sa hatak. besides, every 10K nman ang palit ng oil mo. 50K na mileage ko ang have tried to using fully synthetic-to regular -to regular-tthen to fully synthetic. tlgang ramdam ko ung pagbabago recently since nasanay ako sa regular for about 10K-15K i think.

regarding your FC, parang mataas ung 10Km/li na city driving especially for gas variants. unless you rarely encounter traffic by driving at those 'not so-rush hour' periods. Mine is a D4D and hardly can maintain a 9-10K/li of FC. I usually reset my elecronic FC-meter/gauge at my front panel for every full tank or for every new fill-up of fuel para makita ung difference.

My FC is really 10-11 km/li. I have an officemate who also owns 2.0vvti M/T and she also gets 10-11km/li city driving.

My route is SJDM Bulacan, Lagro, Commonwealth, EDSA, Makati and vice versa. Traffic is worst starting from Lagro to Commonwealth and not to mention EDSA especially at night. All in all it is 72 Km back and forth and I have 7 passengers in the morning. These passengers at the 3rd row seats are the one who complains of not hearing the stereo because I hardly make it loud enough because some of my passengers still sleeps during travel. I'm using UNO unleaded fuel which is by the way the cheapest in Fairview.

I also reset my MID every full tank, and I also take note of the Km run and the litters of fuel consumed and do manual computation. Still MID and manual computation yields FC of 10-11. Maybe i'm light footed on the gas pedal and always do nuetral shift on downhills?

na solve na ba yung rattling sa dashboard mo? sakin meron ding rattle e. same location as what you mentioned. kindly inform me if you were able to fix it. Thanks.

Just underwent my 15K PMS at Otis, They charge me 1880 for labor plus misc 0f 180, brake cleaner of 400+ and oil filter of 450 for total of 2760, I use Mobil1 full synthetic oil last 10K PMS...

Then they replace my 2 FRONT SHOCKS, my rear shocks has no leak daw so not replaced... quite intriguing as i can see the marks of leak but they insist that it'a not wet... only front is wet...
