thanks. have no problem with my ride, fuel consumption..except for my car stereo which broke down after 1wk's use though had it repaired already. so far, so good..

Thanks guys for your reply on my warranty concerns.

Meron lang akong dagdag na mga katanungan, this time regarding airconditioning system.

1. Saan ba ang suction ng return air papuntang rear cooling? Napansin ko kasi na yung evaporator is located behind the right rear wheel, pero hindi ko malocate yung position ng blower and yung suction nito.

2. Meron ba kayo copy ng refrigeration circuit diagram ng aircon ng innova? I just want to know sana kung nakakatipid sa fuel kapag naka-off ang rear aircon.

i saw toyota innova G variant last saturday. bagong labas sa casa and you know what?... yung right front mudguard sa passenger side sa likod ng fog lamp sa kanila may takip na.. how come before sa atin wala.. is it possible to request na palagyan yung atin without any cost at all?!..

sir ano naging problema ng car stereo mo... i also had a problem with my stereo nung two months pa lang ride ko... my cd player won't accept cd's... tawag ako sa toyota sabi nila dalin ko unit ko sa casa to have it repaired... pull out nila stereo then wait ako about two to three weeks to get repaired... hindi ko dinala sa casa naghanap ako sa internet about fujitsu ten... i found this troubleshooting website and found out that if you encounter such problem you reset your stereo by pressing the eject button for three seconds... i tried it and it worked! ok na stereo ko! buti na lang hindi ko agad dinala sa casa... three weeks walang stereo!

sir pag nage-error ine-eject ko lang yung cd then i put it back in... ok na ulit.. yung problem na naencounter ko ayaw talaga pumasok yung cd... the cd even gets stuck halfway kaya i have to pull it out pa... tatlong cd nga yung nasira dahil nagasgas when i pull it out eh...

Napansin ko din yan. May cover na yung wheel well sa kanan. Sabi nung SA namin eh sa mga bagong labas na unit eh meron na. Nagtanong din ako sa casa nung cover. 3000+ yung one piece cover para sa front right. 5400 naman yung fender liner na 4 pieces. Try ko din nga itanong kung pwede natin i-request na lagyan yung mga naunang nilabas na mga unit.

Wow ang sakit pala panoorin kung papaano nila install yung dvd. Approximation yung pagbubutas sa roof at ordinary cutter lang gamit. Wala man lang special tools.

Bakit kaya ganun? Bakit kaya tantyahan lang ang trabaho nila sa casa? Milyon ang halaga nung sasakyan pero ganun-ganun na lang ang treatment nila. At isa pa, they let the client see pa on how they work on the vehicle. Proud pa siguro sila na nagawa nila yung task nila using only approximation. hehehe!!!

AFAIK, the Innova "V" and "G" have the same sound system, therefore the same HU. Innovas are assembled here in the Philippines, so it is quite surprising that they do that kind of installation at the dealer level.

The roof mount DVD is probably a dealer option.

seems that they are leaving the installation of the HU to the dealers so that the installation of a DVD player would be easier.

it's true na hindi nakakabasa ng "pirated cds" ang car stereo, standard yan sa mga car stereos ng fujitsu ten. Pero ang hindi "standard" ang biglang pagkawala ng FM kahit na gumagana naman ang AM. The casa had it pulled-out for repair. Twas agonizing to be driving without sounds although 1 wk lang naman. And worth naman ang service na ginawa ng toyota balintawak.

Finally got my unit last week. G - VVTI

I was about to make the DIY cover for my front fog light last saturday but was really surpirise to see that my unit has already the front wheel well cover and the under fender liner seems wider than the previous ones that I saw.

Well it seems Toyota is listening to its customers clamor for this missing wheel well cover.

How I wish they also included the missing mud guards

Well sa likod nila actually ginagawa yung vehicle tago from customers. It so happened na ma P.R. ako kaya pakalat-kalat ako sa loob. Konting chika dito at doon tapos I have access na even sa second floor sa painting area.

Try nyo po na mag-burn using the lowest speed possible. Medyo matagal lang pero effective naman based sa experience ko. Kahit sa DVD ganun din ang sistema ko. Kapag nag-burn ako ng DVD using the maximum speed, minsan ayaw basahin ng mga branded players like Pioneer. Kapag yung slowest ang burn speed ang ginamit ko eh one click lang. Play agad!

I just have a problem with the really thin CD-Rs that they use for some pirated MP3s.

When I leave the CD inside the player under the hot sun and use it right after, it just skips and skips and after a while it just stops.

When I use original CDs or good quality CD-Rs (what I use to make personal compilations) they're ok.

Same here! I use only high quality CD-R for my personal compilation. Is it ok to leave a CD inside the HU? I'm afraid the CD might deform, specifically the cheap ones, when the weather is really hot.

ah.. baka iba lang ang design ng Toyota. Galing kasi ako sa casa for the 5K PMS of Santa Fe CRDi VGT, every 40K KMs daw ang coolant refill. Gulat nga ako e. Kala ko kasi dapat periodically sya dapat nilalagyan ng water/coolant. Sabi nya, you'll only have to kung may leak.

anyway, baka iba lang design.

Hi there!!

I'm a new member here though i've been reading the threads for quite sometime already when i was deciding on what vehicle to buy. Well, i decided to get an Innova just last month. Mine is a black manual G D4D. Just had my first 1K check up two weeks ago and am now running near 2K. So far my unit is doing ok and my wife and I are quite satisfied with the ride and so are my kids. Fuel consumption is ok also. The only thing i observed that is quite unusual is the aircon. I'm not sure if it is normal for the ACU to switch on for only around 4-5 secs and then switch off for around 5 -7 secs. The cycle goes on like this. No matter what setting i put the thermostat and the fan speed in, the same thing happens once it reaches the target setting. The temperature though is good and temperature drop is quite fast once its switched on even after being parked in direct sunlight. I had 2 cars before my Innova and their ACUs were not switching on and off as often as this. I'm just worried that if this is not normal, this might put too much wear and tear on the compressor, the compressor clutch mechanism and the belt.

Are your ACUs operating the same way as mine?
