Sir,

What is the reason why there's no E Variant with Gas Version VVTI?

Any logical reason?

Even if I'm to accept your claim of "0.01%" (data unverified) of D4-D in Innovas have the "problem", I still wouldnt take the risk, given the chance. For example, a person knows there is something wrong with the D4-D engines but they decide to go on buying it with the simplistic reasoning that only "0.01%" of D4-D have this problem and that what are the chances they would chance upon a problematic unit. Quite small, right (If one were to belive that unverified "0.01%" statistic)? Maybe or maybe not. Depending on the outcome, that episode would be like playing a game of roulette with a gun in your mouth, hoping that each click of the trigger would not let a bullet loose.

This D4-D problem has problems that even a mechanic in one of Toyota-owned dealers admits to trying to "cure" but to no avail. Toyota doesnt even know where to look at. First, they changed the entire system, then the injectors, and now they are reprogramming the ECU.

edit: in bold

(eventually makakasanayan mo din.) some people say na parang sobrang bland daw ang door ng j-variant (walang rubber like the G-variant). also, compared to a regular sedan, mas matagtag ang innova (most suv's naman talaga mas matagtag e compared to a sedan).

pero what are you getting in return?...

yun lang. to this day, sobrang happy ako sa decision namin to get the innova. i drove the innova to lipa (batangas) and i arrived at the destination fresh. not tired at all. ang saya pa ng drive kasi madaming pwede sumabay sa iyo.

hth and again, good luck on your choice. balitaan mo kami.

. . hehehe!)
Brim to brim method of computation.
Reset trip meter A at Caltex Malolos.
Max Speed = 80 km/hr * 2,200 rpm (ingat po kasi ako sa break-in).
Shifts at 2,000 rpm.
Moderate traffic situation.

Malolos to CCP Complex and
vice versa (konting paikot-ikot na kasali) = 119.5 kms

Gas consumed = 11.29 lts (Caltex - Silver)

Average Consumption = 10.58 kms/lt

Ano po palagay ninyo sa consumption? Acceptable na po ba?

TY!

But wait-a-sandali... you mentioned that you'll avail of your company's car loan program and if i'm not mistaken, you'll be saddled with monthly payments for at least five years, right? hmmmm... now my point here is, what if your family expands in a year or two? siguro ay hindi na overkill ang situation by then at baka nga by that time ay mas kelangan mo ang malaking sasakyan, di ba?

I've been in the same boat before and I was not able to make the same forecast so I ended up waiting for my loan (i.e. for a EK civic) to be paid up after five years. And while waiting, my kids were already complaining at the back of the car due to very limited space..

just my :twocents:

Innova G Gas Automatic Transmission ODO: 230km

Fuel Consumption

Based sa MID( Multi-Information Display)

hello to all,
i've been reading the thread for quite a while now and they are very informative.
just got my new INNOVA E this week and so far wala pa me masabi sa performance nya.
currently computing the fuel efficiency and will post it later kung kapareho nga ng mga nababasa ko.
meron din kayang mga member na techies dyan that could possibly give some advice on how to maximize fuel efficiency especially on the common rail diesel engine.

Ayos ang setup mo, bro. Though, you sacrificed much of your space.
I am planning to design a space saving speaker enclosure with multiple 5" sub-woofer speakers. Anyone here knows a place who can mold an irregular shape using fiberglass? The area of consideration is the sidings of the compartment area or the back door itself. As you can imagine, the back door has enough internal space to be used as enclosure. This is just a preliminary assessment, but I will try it once back home.

Bro, importante yung first 1T km change oil. Besides the first 1T, an interval of 5T ang change oil. Buti kung synthetic ang gamit mo. GO!GO!GO! Baka may mangyari sa makina mo.
Yung bulb walang problema as long as the wattage remains the same.

5400 for a set of 4 ang price sa casa. Yung wheel well cover dun sa front right fender ay 3K+ po ang price.
