Guys,
Have you replaced your piston like absorber controlling the backdoor? Medyo maingay ng kaunti yung sa akin pag tinataas and have it replaced already. Kawawa ang Toyota sa akin. Lahat ng bagay na makita kong problema sa unit ko, pinapapalitan ko. Siyempre under warranty. After warranty period, masakit na sa bulsa. Kaya advise ko sa inyo mga tol, tutal libre naman, have it replaced sa ano mang makita nyong problema sa mga unit nyo.

It should be making like a sucking sound when you lift the gate up. I think that is normal. What does your old (replaced) one sound like?

So nakita mo rin pala yan.Ang price nang Innova V ay 1,083.000 para sa 2.0 VVT-I gas A/T at 1,144.000 naman sa 2.5 D-4D A/T(panay automatic tranny lang siya.....)Six seater lang pala ang Innova V but overall its great!

This is my first post here in Tsikot.com. Bought our Quicksilver Innova J last September 1 at Toyota Makati.
I am currently planning on adding speakers at the rear door and our SA said that meron na daw nakaabang dun sa likod and just bring the speakers and they can install it for 350 pesos. Mura na kaya yun? So, my question is, what is the size of both the front and rear speakers? Is it 6.5"? I am also concerned about the maximum depth of the speaker that the doors can accomodate? Baka kasi tumama yung speakers sa windows pag binaba. Thanks in advance.

You can do the speaker installation yourself. You only need a screwdriver to bust open the door panel. Remove all screws and pry door panel from door itself. You will hear some plastic pins pop. Some might even fly. Just return them to their proper places after. Get speakers. Connect two wires and screw in speaker (usually 2 screws). Reinstall door panel.

Not sure on the speaker size, though.

For Php350, I'd install your speakers and make you a snack already. hehehe.

Btw, instillation is usually free at the place where you bought the speakers.

www.kotseaudioclub.com can probably help you make the proper speaker choice as well as refer you to a good vendor.

Thank you for the reply sir Otep. Yung 350 na yun Casa kasi mag iinstall ng speakers. I'm thinking na dun ko na din lang pakabit para walang issue sa warranty. Isasabay ko nalang sya pagnagpa 1KM PMS ako nung vehicle. Di ko lang kasi alam yung size ng speaker na dapat bilhin

Wala naman issue kahit sa labas mo ipakabit. No one will take a flashlight to the door panel and say: "Aha! May speaker! Tanggalin ang warranty nito!" hehehe.

The door panels are designed for easy instillation and removal anyway. And if may wire na nga na nakaabang, it's just a matter of connecting them.

Personally, I'd just ask the shop that I got the speakers from to install them. Less hassle dahil matetest fit, libre pa ang kabit.

Nung nagpalagay ako ng alarm sa Picanto sa labas ko na din pinagawa at least mas mura and nabantayan ko ang pagkabit. Take note walang central lock ang Picanto so halos buong cabin kailangan baklasin to install motors and run wires. Satisfied naman ako. Better than the casa alarm pa yung nakabit. As for warranty, wala kaming issues sa dalwang Kia dealers na pinupuntahan ko (Wheels and Femac). Nagclaim na kasi ako ng warranty work twice (for an engine stalling problem).

Sorry bro, I don't know exactly the sound (I am out of the country). Based on the report I received, it was a sucking sound (too noisy to consider) that Toyota decided them to replaced.

The sucking sound is normal (its air entering/exiting the valve orifice). But then again, if Toyota chose to replace it, no harm done too.

Is there such a things conversion from non ABS to ABS? i really wanted an innova with ABS, the seats and other new features on the Innova V dont matter to me...
