my unit is 2.5D4D pinalitan last april 2006 odo 5,000km, nun una sabi ok na wala daw problem sa supply pump, hula ko reprogram lang nila, after 300km of travel lumala, so binalik ko sa ibang casa sa manila bay, pinalitan na supply pump, right now nasa 8,500 kms na, ok naman starting , problem is lumakas fuel consumption niya, highway driving no traffic (la union to laoag) nasa 9.2 km/liters lang

Sa tingin ko hindi uso yong reprogram nung palitan nila yong supply pump mo kasi aril pa pala May or June lumapas yon bagong program. what they did is they initialize your unit then nung bumalik yong problem pinalitan na yong supply pump. Magkaiba kasi yong Initialization sa Reprogramming.

if the fuel consumption became higher after reprogramming, maybe the toyota techs adjusted it so that more fuel goes thru the fuel pump. remember, it is diesel itself that lubricates the supply pump. maybe they reprogrammed it that way to provide more lubrication to the pump so that it will not fail sooner.
+1 on the Amaron. Yeah, just make sure it will fit and can be held in place securely due to...
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
