For me the 10.5 is much better because it has a newer engine (Dual VVTi) compared to the 10th gen (single VVTi).

Ramdam yung difference sa power lalo na when overtaking or pag puno. But fortunately sa fuel consumption halos pareho lang naman, mga 8 km/L in city driving, 15 in highway driving.

Of course if you can't afford the 10.5G, wag ipilit. Though I would still choose a secondhand Altis over a bnew Wigo. Lata lang yung Wigo at least the Altis is a better car in every way.

I agree with 1D4LV on the '08 1.6V average price - around 390-430k, depending on the condition Online posted price is slightly higher because everyone haggles anyway.

2011 Altis G is about 430-470k if AT, less 20-25k if MT. Upgraded rims usually don't add to the value of the car.

2007 Altis is still the 9th gen. 10th gen is 2008 onwards. 9th gen is roughly 270-300k depending on the condition.

Dito ko pala dapat pinopost yung sa maintenance hindi sa detailing hehe.

Guys finally i bought a 2nd hand car and Altis 2009 1.6G black 72k milage ang nabili ko. worth 332k with complete signature sa PMS booklet ng toyota upto 70km.
Dinala namin agad sa hotwheels, pinalitan ng brakepad(OEM 6k), left rear shock(OEM 4.6k) , change oil (2250) cleaned rear brakes.
Sabi nila Filters is ok. Break fluid is ok (lagpas sa max indicator) , coolant is ok (sakto sa max), aligned front wheels. Walang ingay na naririnig. Malakas lang na engine sounds pag in-on ang aircon and mawawala after a few minutes pag inoff ang AC. Our driver mechanic sa office drive it from office to our house, makati to dasma cavite thru mcx and daang hari. Okay daw ang takbo.

A friend drive it also around , okay naman sa kanya din maliban sa pag natingin sa rear mirror parang nahihilo daw sya. I am also practicing with it. okay naman sakin medyo concern din ako sa likod na glass pag gabi parang ang labo or kasi gabi nga. sabi pala ng binilihan ko, tint daw need ko na palitan yung sa windshield at likod.

Do i need to change anything or wait for 80kms milage? Wala naman kaming nakitang problem sa car, Maliban sa maraming gasgas na pinoproblema ko hahahaha

When changing shocks, you should usually change in pairs because if not, the older one wears quicker and can also affect your alignment and tire wear. Check the tread level of the tires too.

Also check if the leather bits are worn out (steering wheel, shift knob). Unless you're fine with that of course. Getting the tint replaced will do good for your safety since I wouldn't advise driving with difficulty viewing the rear.

For the oil, check if it was FS or mineral. If mineral, have it replaced at 75k. If FS, you can go until 80k.

ikaw pala yung kabalitaktakan ko sa altis club sa FB. hehehehe.
anyway, yung sa rear view mirror, try to use an aftermarket attachment. sa akin it works.
yung ingay sa compressor, baka sa compressor pulley bearing. mura lang yan (around 2.5k - 3k). paayos mo na lang bago magkaroon ng effect sa compressor mismo.
ilang km na sya ngayon? i advise replacing the fluids muna, including the oil.
