Toyota Corolla 10th Generation Altis Owners [continued]

I have an Atis 2003 at the moment, and I feel it's a very good all-rounder. The look is a classic, spacious, and I haven't found it really lacking in power. That's why after looking around for all sorts of vehicle that is to my liking - the Tucsons, Ecosports for the crossovers, the Mirages, Accents, Picantos, Celerios, Fiestas for the hatchs, and the Teana, Almera, Ciaz and Vios for the sedans - I have come back full circle to the Altises. My interest in them though is basically focused in the 2011 to 2012 models only. My brother has the Altis 1.6V 2016 and I've decided I don't need all the features and gizmos that comes with it. Also, the 2011/2012 models are in a sweet spot right now ranging from P350k to P450k. Just two years ago that I was looking at these same models they're still at the P550k to P675k range for the "V" variant.

My shocks are due for replacement, any recommendation for an after market one for normal driving?

original spark plugs are probably platinum, it will last long. they inspect if it really needs changing. have them clean the ac filter.

The backlight of my head unit started flickering earlier (when I was on my way home)... It powered back on when I tried putting pressure on the sides of the head unit...

done...had it repainted total cost 15k...ask ko lang since mga expert kayo at isa lang akong hamak na baguhan, ok lang bang wash ko na agad ang sasakyan or do i have to wait for the paint to fully cure? been lurking into forums but i gor different replies...any tips? thank you...

carwash should be fine
mag wax/detail ka after 2 - 3 months. sakin 1 month lang wax na agad newly painted area, kasi 4-6 hours a day naarawan yung side na bagong paint.

Was about to choose the civic, pero kapos sa budget.
So sa Altis ako punta, so sana i-ask ko mga to..
Hopefully may mga sumagot. kahit ano sa mga questions, based on experience.

1. Kapag bibili po, much better po ba na inhouse installation payment or car loan sa bank? Best dealer po na closest sa taguig?
2. Usually ilang days bago makuha yung car if done downpayment?
3. Sa Corolla Altis 1.6 G MT, ano po yung mga tipong brand new defects? Meron po ba?
Ano po yung mga dapat icheck para masure na hindi 'lemon' unit yung kukunin ko?
4. Meron po bang nagpapark ng Corolla Altis 1.6 G MT nila under the sun most of the time? ano po mga effects?
Open parking lang kasi ako. pipilitin na isilong, pero most of the time, open parking talaga. babad sa araw.
5. Ano pong mga ayaw niyo sa Toyota Corolla Altis 1.6 G MT? #realtalk sana. walang bias. wala naman atang perfect car.

that would depend, on whether it is still fix-able. it will cost a pretty penny if it has to be replaced. these guys know just how expensive a new assembly is, so they ask a small finger for that little piece that they cannibalized from somewhere...
sometimes, the problem is in the wiring, as in, na-putol, and not the mechanism.

last time i had a power lock fixed, it cost me 1.5 K. the guy replaced the electric motor with a surplus unit.

thanks doc,a friend told me na baka fuse lang daw siya since walang sound ng movement talaga, i told him wala akong alam sa electronics di ko din siya maintindihan,kaya nag ask ako sa mga experts sa tsikot hehehe...
