    Hi!

We just had the 1K checked up last saturday for my altis 2.0V purchased last week of Feb 2011.

    Fuel Consumption:
Prior to 1K = lowest is 8.2km/l, and highest at 9.2km/l (based on actual full tank computation), pure city driving (Marikina to Makati CBD via C5).

After 1K = will update if performance further improves.

the 8.2Km FC is already an improvement to our old innova's FC of 6-7km, a good P70++/day savings for us, or more than Php26K/year minimum.

+1... We still got the P series. I'm just happy kumpleto na with LTO stickers, OR-CR yung plates. I've yet to see the T plates on the road.

Yup, feels better with the plates na. Mas relax na to drive the car around, since been hearing of several recent no plate apprehensions na rin.

Yup, not that many yet on the road still. Saw na at least an Innova na TDI and Vios na TAI, so we should start seeing more of these soon.

*ian28 We have that problem with another car before and the cause was the oxygen sensor, just one possible thing to look at...

So we've had our car for two months, here are some more impressions:

    1. We also have the infamous rattling sound, this is heard on selected uneven roads, those which were not cemented smoothly. The sound comes from the base of the driver's side A pillar trim, where it meets the dashboard. Am planning to insert a small piece of foam to see if it will stop, but have not gotten around to doing it. Tried inserting a thin card to see how deep the gap is, but it's very shallow at lesss than 5mm.

    2. The ride is still smooth and 'fully cushioned', good if you prefer comfort over 'agility'.

    3. Spending a lot of time washing and waxing the car, and browsing detailing sites. The thread "Tamang OC lang..." in the "More than looks" section is very good if you want to know the proper way to take care of your car's paint. You can also join pinoydetailing.com, for even more tips. Our car now has some light scratches, a small dent, and a small chip in the paint. Studying on how to correct these...our water bill increased by P 200 according to my wife, hehehe. Funny thing is how our other car, a 2002 Adventure, now receives the same loving treatment that I've learned.

    4. The most useful feature for me so far is the ECO mode, wherein you can see the range of the most economical fuel consumption. This even changed a part of my driving habit, in terms of accelarating from a stop and during overtaking. Based on our daily route, our FC ranges from 11.5-12.3 km/li, you can say it's 50-50 of city and highway driving. Also measured manually twice and it was around 11.5 too.

    5. The most useless feature for me is the Bluetooth connection, because I can't get it to work with both a Nokia and a Samsung phone till now.

    6. Our mileage is now at 2,500 kms, quite high since it's a daily driver. Even using it on the weekends fully loaded on family trips.

    7. Still no plates and counting, was just given more sets of the invoice dated till end July.

Malamang T series na yung plaka mo sir loverlionus.

Last week pinapalitan ko yung busina ko to a louder fanfare type. Maganda workmanship sa wiring sa Autobisyo.

Regarding sa pag detail nito, malapit nang maubos 2nd bottle ko ng QD. Una yung OID tapos this time yung Showtime naman. I go crazy with QD lalo na ngayon ang bilis ng salitan ng ulan at araw, kawawa mga baby natin.

I also have the ECO meter on display always to keep track of my driving habits. As for the Bluetooth feature, di ko parin ginagamit, hehe.

I just have the TOK sound when rolling forward after some manuevering from reverse. Other than that the interior sounds solid without any rattles even when going over Maynilad's mess on the road. sana wag nang sumulpot pa...

Thanks, I'll just hope not to experienced it again. It's very seldom that's why it's so hard for them to diagnose if it did not occur.

As far as I know, this could be claimed under warranty. That's if a quick self fix can't be found yet, and you trust your casa to dismantle and then reassemble these properly.
