^Mine is also black... alagaan mo lang ng waxing and proper washing procedures and it'll be nice and shiny.![]()
last minute choice lang talaga
initially, i wanted the white
3 days later, it was the silver
then the next day, white na naman
then when we paid yesterday, i decided black![]()
enjoy your new car.
also, just like what vinj said, alagaan mo sa waxing and proper waxing procedures.
I find the different colors of cars having different pros and cons, i.e.
White - clean looking color but libagin
Black - classic color, definitely brings out the best color depth but very prone to swirl marks and dust can easily be seen
Silver - swirls and light stone chips are 'invisible' but difficult to spot paint and difficult to shine
Red - another color good to look at but a little scratch can easily be seen
=)
First tank up on XCS... 11.96km/L. This is a mix of city and highway driving w moderate to heavy traffic on some days this past week... Not bad. Ill need to do 2-3 more tank ups to average it out in my normal weekly routine.
Black also absorbs the most heat so its good to invest in good tint. Init pa naman yung araw sa Pampanga. ;)
hey guys...am getting the beige metallic color...what's a good leather seat cover color to complement this? light beige is sooooo hard to maintain..... tia
Hi guys, i need your opinion, maganda ba maglagay ng front girll w/ my medium silver altis???
One more thing, may naka experience ba sa inyo ng pumping sound when pressing the brake pedal?
Thanks
thanks for the input guys...just checked the 2.0 V which came with leather seats as standard options....the color of the seats was TAN.... color somewhere between beige and grey....
cheers guys!! thanks again !!
Guys anyone here experienced a rumbling sound on the left side of the steering wheel? Theres also a ringing sound on the corner of the drivers window (near the seatbelt) but it goes away if i turn off the radio. Usually the sound gets louder when driving on concrete roads and you guys know how "even" our roads are. I just got this car this year and having these annoying sounds makes me think i made a mistake choosing an altis over an elantra.
Looks like the rumbling is a common problem of the altis. Will have it checked by the casa. Might need additional insulation sa driver's door. Do you pass through edsa regularly? Theres a rough patch after guadalupe right before the new asphalt (near the rockwell bus stop) that amplifies the rumbling sound. Sa inis ko minsan sinusuntok ko yung dash.
Resonation siguro. I've observed this (albeit on the less-NVHed Vios) at certain speeds on some rough asphalt in BGC. I'm also running 35 psi up front.
Diba the Altis has better NVH compared to the Elantra?
The Civic actually has even less insulation as against the Altis based on the previous models i've owned (EK and ES). I always pass that part of EDSA so i'll observe the for sound when i go through the Rockwell portion. I hate that gap between the asphalt and concrete before it... along with the Guadalupe bridge approach which is subjects your car to bad road conditions, no matter what lane you use).
Update on my second tank of Petron XCS. 10.03km/L, mostly city driving and with bad traffic. Let's see how this continues to go...
I observed the car closely at that portion yesterday and today and there weren't any strange noises at all.
