Someone mentioned here na sa PH lang required face shield? I wonder what other countries common ang face shield kasi sa US and Germany hindi daw

I personally think tama naman another layer of protection lalo na sa mga nag commute saka sa mga pumupunta ng mga palengke.

Protection na rin para sa mga nakalabas ilong saka yun mga nag gagamit ulit ng disposable mask ng ilan beses.

Sa mga hinde crowded na lugar for me pwede na eye goggles.

If shields do really help, how come countries like Japan, HK and SG did not require their people to wear them? Meron na ulit resurgence of cases sa kanila, and definitely mas magaling naman siguro ang health experts nila.

Kinakabahan na naman ako kasi yung face shield ko napiktal and it fell on the floor! Though floor looked clean at hindi naman naaapakan masyado kasi sa gilid na. I sprayed it liberally with alcohol and had to wear it again because they won't let me enter without it naman. Anyway next time it fell on the floor sa escalator na ng parking and the guard saw it naman kaya di ko na sinuot. Baka sa face shield pa ko mapahamak!!!

Yup, the chances of one getting the virus from wearing face shields outweighs the chances of preventing it. Face shields are reusable, and I don’t think people will disinfect it after each use. Tapos kung saan saan pa nilalagay whenever they are not wearing it, and like Cathy, the chances of dropping the face shields to the floor is very high.

May nakita nga ko online na yung acrylic dividers sa restos ginawang sabitan ng face shield. I hope they alcohol it before wearing. Kaya ako I never ever take off my face mask once I wear it pero sa face shield hindi talaga ko bilib kasi I wear glasses naman so protected pa eyes ko hahaha

A 40-year-old man said in a complaint seen by Reuters that he had suffered serious "neurological and psychological" symptoms after receiving the vaccine in a trial being run by the British drugmaker's partner Serum Institute of India (SII).

"There was no immediate cause of concern at this stage," Samiran Panda, head of Epidemiology and Communicable Diseases at the ICMR, the research body involved in trials, told Reuters.

"It doesn't mean that long term assessment will not happen, it is still happening. I am aware of the activity," Panda said.

What Happened: SII Chief Executive Adar Poonawalla praised the efficiency of AstraZeneca’s vaccine, called Covishield, during an online press briefing on Saturday, Reuters has reported.

“What we found with Covishield in its global trial is there were zero hospitalizations, which means even if you do get infected you’re not going to have a severe attack and secondly even those who got the disease were not infecting others,” he explained during the call.

Poonawalla also said the institute would apply for an emergency-use license in the next couple of weeks.
