Swedes have been known to favor a natural approach to health and well being doc. They are considered to be one of the most healthiest people. They consistently rank high in life expectancy and quality of life. Tragic that they chose the wrong approach.

Those of us who make it out alive should really pay more attention to our life choices and learn from our mistakes. That's the only takeaway from this ongoing crisis. There is a clear lack of leadership in handling this pandemic. What's worse is they are focused on selfish attempts at accumulating more power and wealth, while our people are losing their jobs and dying.

yes their death toll is much higher (in relation to population size) than its Nordic neighbors

but it's lower than other European countries like Britain and Spain which both implemented lockdowns

The rapid test for IgM is it specifically for covid virus antibodies? or any flu like antibodies can register positive IgM as well?

they are antigen-antibody-based.
very specific sila for covid.

the symptomatology for covid, however, overlaps with those of other viral illnesses'.
therein may lie the confusion.

A colleague of mine got tested positive in rapid test he got mad and furious he cannot sleep at night because he will go immediatly on quarrantine.... the following day he went to cityhall to seek rapid testing and he was tested negative.

he should have a pcr swab.

each IgM test kit available in the open market, is designed to detect a particular type of antibody only.

a few might be designed to detect all IgMs, but these ones are "for specialized use only".
if it were used indiscriminately on the general population, every other person would probably test as reactive.

pero since rapid tests are now widely used lumalabas na madami nag po-positive sa IGM pero nag ne-negative sa swab

pero for companies, rapid test is better than nothing

as long as wala pa ibang test na affordable at mabilis ang result, pagtiyagaan muna ang rapid test

if one consults the virus-antibody curves downloadable from the internet, it is easy to understand why.
note that there is no one curve. instead, there are many variants, depending on what that researcher found out.

antibody tests have to be sensitive and specific

doon tayo sa specific -- dapat ang dinidetect niya SARCOV2 antibodies only

if it's not specific enough it might pick up antibodies to other coronaviruses

I guess they should also consider a ban on loud talking and heavy breathing when dining in at restaurants....
