If I were pduts I'll extend EHQ for another 2 weeks. But this time it will be extra strict and those baranggay who will not implement stricter measures will remain in lockdown after the EHQ.
We have to sustain the relatively good effort to contain this China virus.

definitely may effect ung ECQ
susceptible people (elderly) stayed home, people who can infect them (working age, students) stayed home
DOH criteria for testing -- those with symptoms
if you keep susceptible people from getting sick you have less people to test
pero ngayon LGUs are starting mass testing sigurado madami ma-detect na positive
Heard over the radio that the IATF will discuss with Du30 on which indusrty may be allowed to open after April 30... Hopefully a modified quarantine maybe in order...
Total Or Modified Lockdown? Duterte To Decide; Is The Curve Already Flattening? | OneNews.PH
Recent data suggests the Philippines is doing better in flattening the curve | ABS-CBN News
An important data is the doubling time. The doubling time tells us how many days it takes for confirmed cases to double, based on the 7-day average daily growth rate. In short, the shorter the doubling time, the steeper the slope, the larger the number of cases within that span of time. The doubling time in the US for example is around 4 days. Which means that if the doubling time does not lengthen in the US, they would see an increase of 100,000 cases every three days. The doubling time in the Philippines started around four, but now averages at least two weeks (14 days). The latest doubling time is now almost 16 days! Remember, the longer the doubling time, the earlier we can flatten the curve.

Metro Manila quarantine 'very effective' at checking COVID-19 - UP think tank | ABS-CBN News

I say extend it for another 2 weeks Everything will be for naught kung I-lift agad.
If modified then owners of factories are mandated to do rapid testings on their workers but still half the manpower lang. Workers should be tested once a week.
Malls should remain closed, restaurants maintain status quo, takeout and deliveries only.
Mga gyms and the likes. Cinemas closes pa rin lahat.
BPOs half manpower since marami namana na naka set up sa WFH. And again rapid test once a week for everybody.
Then curfew adjust na gawin na lang 10pm-5am
Bawal pa rin lumabas senior citizens. Yun ginagawa sa pelengke ganun pa rin.

New method of testing for coronavirus in under a minute, by Israeli tech - The Jerusalem Post
The new method is based off a breathing machine developed by Israeli companies Next-Gen and Scentech Medical, and is similar to the breathalyzer machine that police use to find ethanol contained in the blood. Using a similar method to that of the breathalyzer, patients breath into the device, which should be able to distinguish between thousands of gas compounds in the breath, isolating that associated with the virus, allowing for a quick and simple diagnosis.
yes i am aware anyone any age can be infected
even young people can die of covid
i'm just looking at the overall effect of ECQ
--
since very strict ang testing criteria natin (testing only those with severe symptoms), dahil sa ECQ, those who would have developed severe symptoms if infected didn't get infected
coz:

i think LGUs will now conduct mass testing to find and isolate asymptomatics (aside from those with symptoms)
dadami ang positive count natin
LOL at US protests against their lockdown.

Hopefully, there will be really cheap rapid testing devices available by then ... or subsidized by the government? ... agree with the guy who resigned about continuing with the infrastructure projects though ... just to get the economy jump started ... a lot of people have no income ... it's not like the virus is going away soon ...
Dapat talaga tinuloy eh, walang traffic. Housing on site dapat yun mga workers while continuing doing the projects.
At least during ECQ eh control mo pa yun mga tao and surorundings ng project site.

We will continue to do our best with social amelioration. But if we want quarantine to end faster--
TESTING TESTING TESTING.
We now have 6 active testing booths, strategically placed in our SuperHealth Centers.
Pati exposed health workers natin ite-test din ("Let's keep them safe so they ca. keep us safe")
Salamat sa tulong, Deeco Electronics at Dee Hwa Liong Academy.
