Yup, nagets mo. This is a game changer If this would be the same story in the coming days, then governments would have to factor another set of solution, one of which is Herd Immunity, we could risk hunger/famine if economy/stores remain closed...

it's to slow down the rate of infection -- the R-naught number

if no lockdown the R0 number is like 2.5 to 3

with lockdown the number goes down

maybe the recovered patients did not produce enough antibodies in them to fight off reinfection

that is one thing, at the same time they are still spreading the virus to their homes/surroundings

as far as i know, dyan sa Makati Med hindi kailangan ng 2nd negative PCR test result before idischarge yung patient. As long as sa diagnosis ng doctor ay ok na sya, pwede na sya maalis sa covid ward or totally discharged sa hospital. Isa sa rason ay dahil masyado matagal dumating yung test result. May ibang patients pa mas kailangan nila alagaan kaysa sa nag aantay nalang ng result.

kaya sa tally ng DOH, mas mataas pa actually bilang ng napagaling ng MMC. Hindi lang nasama yung iba dahil ang "recovered" kay DOH ay dapat 2 negative PCR test results

Im not sure kung ganun parin protocol nila since bumilis na dapat bumalik ng test result as per sa news.

let's say effective ung avigan (or some other antiviral) and mild lang side effect pwede mag take niyan like once a day as prophylactic para makabalik na sa trabaho ang buong mundo

Agree on this one. Same situation nga with malaria. At least hindi deadly kahit madapuan ka if it ever comes to it.

If this spills over to May, much worse ang worldwide recession for 2020.

hopefully by then facilities for mass testing and quarantine are already in place and functioning to meet the rise of infection. also better protection are provided for the frontliners.
