Nope. Not in the press release of WHO or any reliable medical entity for that matter.

Even with her background, the people behind her are academics, medical doctors and scientists. OTOH Digong relied on lawyers, gophers and military-police.

Lots of flights direct from China came in before the lockdown. I remember last month at the Region 5 RDDRMC meeting, special attention and checks were given to flights coming into Legazpi airport from Cebu, more so than those coming from Manila.

    Another kapalpakan ni Duque...

Rex is in the correct path of testing and immediate isolation...

Valenzuela City Mayor Rex Gatchalian has asked health authorities to review its new classification of possible and confirmed COVID-19 patients, as asymptomatic patients have tested positive for the coronavirus.

The PUM group is no longer being tracked and tested as per the Department of Health (DOH) new policy, which they said is in accordance with the World Health Organization (WHO) standards.

“We wanted to test pati ‘yong PUM, and lo and behold, ‘yong unang balik ng second result na kwarenta, lima ‘don ay PUM na nagpositive. Ngayon naman […] out of another set of 30, dalawa naman na PUM ang nagpositive,” Gatchalian said in a radio interview with DZMM.

According to Gatchalian, the PUMs who tested positive have been isolated even if they have yet to show symptoms. However, he insists that DOH should reconsider placing back PUMs on the list of possible COVID-19 patients, for health institutions to test them.

“Paulit-ulit ko ‘tong sasabihin kahit na tawagin na akong sirang plaka, tinanggal na ng DOH sa swabbing protocol itong mga PUM, in short, isang buong kategorya ang nawala sa mapa natin ng mga sina-swab,” the local chief noted.

“Eh kung dito sa Valenzuela ginawa namin ‘yong aggressive namin na testing nakita namin, sana tignan nila ulit ‘yong policy na ‘yon,” he added.

Spot-on. You can tell the difference by knowing who leads the IATF. The "bobo" about a dead patient being unknown was a Big Example.

Just a mask, no gloves. Just remember not to touch the face. I also don't wear a watch anymore nor bring a fone. Extra stuff to clean and the watch gets in the way of disinfection/washing.

Could this be the real reason why Pernia was "eased out"? $$$$$$$$$? Build Build Build. All that kickback money? There's only 2 years left you know.

"But one Babbler believes the lockdown was just a minor flashpoint in the simmering rivalry between the co-chairs of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Board and Investment Coordinating Council (ICC) where all big-ticket projects have to pas through.

The Babbler said NEDA-ICC’s slow approval of key infrastructure projects could be traced to the dissonance between Dominguez and Pernia. While Dominguez was all-out in seeking China’s help, Pernia was critical of China’s failure to deliver on its much hyped promise to bankroll infrastructure projects.

The Babbler said with Pernia out, Dominguez would be the sole gatekeeper of Duterte’s infrastructure projects and would have no
problem pursuing his agenda with his protege, Finance Undersecretary Karl Chua, as acting NEDA chief.
    "

With three years left in Duterte’s term and with billions in pesos planned for “Build, Build, Build” projects, the Babbler said Dominguez has full control of NEDA-ICC, the top prize in the Cabinet rivalry."
