i have seen speaker-microphone set-ups in some institutions, augmenting communication between the two entities on either side of the plexiglass...

    plastic/acrylic barriers are hygiene theater

makes your store look "safe" to regular people

to get approval from regulators even if you (the business owner) know those things don't work

    funny lang...

apak ka sa disinfecting mat, alcohol sa kamay, temp check...

pag pasok mo you're all indoor breathing the same air

ung mga ceremonia is just theater

May I ask then, what would be the suggested protocol to reduce risk?

Even in most ORs (lalo na sa probinsya) they share the same air with the operating theaters beside them (if lucky to have more than one). Hindi naman din sterile ang hangin unless naka environmentally sealed suits & breathing apparatus ang mga surgeons (astronaut na?).

    in a paper i read,
in a big study (900K subjects), the issue of false-positive antigen test, was believed to have arisen because of:
manufacturing issues of the antigen test kit,
the timing of the tests (too early or too late),
as well as the quality of the sample material tested.
would you know the brand of the test kit used on your colleagues?

Wala namang gyera... field hospital naman naiisip mo kung saan dinadala yung mga nabaril, nasabugan... (No choice na yun kasi urgent situation yun)

Tanghaling tapat pa... kawawa naman yung pasyente, more so the doctors (some procedures last hours & are sensitive) Tapos t*ehan pa ng dumadaang ibon yung open wound...

    ... another variant...

    sigh.

let's see how the media plays this up,
and if it proves to be worthy of the play-up.

if we're talking about restaurants -- outdoor seating is safer than indoor with plastic barriers

    -

kung indoor dapat may sapat na ventilation

ung iba gumagamit ng co2 detector to monitor air quality

    -

di naman OR ang topic sir

Same principle (issue) naman din involved.

The virus doesn't care if you're in an OR or dining

    -My 2 cents

Tsaka mas mura siguro ang acrylic barrier than a CO2 sensor hehehe

Haay. Naalala ko yung isang online article nakita ko dati:

"Researchers discover COVID variant with hundreds of HORRIFIC mutations..."

Not to downplay things, but akala mo naman may ability na nakakatunaw na ng bakal or whatever...

Kaya nga yung mental health impact of this crisis is really bad.
It cuts at the very fabric of society (human interaction).

What was that Tom Hanks Movie again where he spent years talking to a volleyball?
