The ICU bed occupancy rate in NCR is now at 52% from 27% last week ⬆️
The Philippines will likely breach 3 million total cases on Tuesday.

DOH predicting baka mag alert level 4. Metro Manila Mayors and Joey Con eh predicting level 3 lang. Tama naman si Joey Con, halos wala na tao sa labas, maluwag traffic, konti mga customers sa mall kahit weekend. Meaning people are staying at home na. No need to implement a higher level. It's a combination of covid + wala na pera tao dahil nakaraang Pasko.

Sabi nung nurse habang kausap yung isang patient. Isa malakas makahawa during party eh yung microphone ng karaoke. bawat kumakanta nag de deposit ng laway dun sa microphone. Hahawakan mo ngayon yung Mic. Tapos may kakanta pa na naka lips to lips sa microphone. Parang ka lips to lips mo na lahat ng tao sa party. [emoji23]

then i'll believe the spike was probably less of the omicron,
but more of the un-protected holiday celebrations.

there's more people per sqm in ncr,
and there's, argueably, more aircons and enclosed celebration spaces in ncr than non-ncr.

According to a friend from NDRRMC, cases in the provinces begin to rise approximately 2 weeks after a surge in NCR (likely related to quarantine procedures). Though mukhang meron na rin response sa ibang lugar outside NCR, di lang ganun ka-lala.

Mas high risk talaga big cities like what's happening in other parts of the world.

Maliit space, mas ma-party mga tao and nakita naman talaga natin na protocols were thrown out the window nun December.


Kaya nga I was really against na binaba yun alert nun December dapat ngaykn January binaba eh.
