CDC Director Walensky: “What the vaccines can't do anymore is prevent transmission."
Yup… im using betadine gargle for sore throat…

yup, omicron, i know its coming because 60% sa site na pinuntahan ko went down with omicron, consideting fully vaccinated na lahat.
Im asymptomatic maybe due to my regular use of betadine throat and nasal spray. 1000 mg Vitamin C and paracetamol lang when i came out positive.
If you have a nasal spray mas helpful in tandem with the betadine throat spray.
The short 2 day incubation period of Omicron vs 7-14 days of the earlier variants made slow release of RT-PCR results even more useless... Even track and trace nearly impossible with the speed of transmission...

Lawmaker says DOLE to require paid isolation, quarantine leave for workers

Dear Mr President ,
Hi. How are you? Our healthcare Human Resources are our nation’s treasures and heroes. They are overworked , overburdened , underpaid and under appreciated. Hope you could monitor their benefits and working conditions to serve our people better.
If we don’t arrest Omicron viral transmission ASAP eg Alert Level 4 in NCR x two weeks , we stand to lose our healthcare workers to illness , burn out syndrome , or brain drain or migration to other countries.
We can open the economy , yes , or dance with the virus but our testing capacity , vaccination , and boosters are low.
We should prioritize LIVES over LIVELIHOOD.
Sincerely yours ,
Tony Leachon MD 🇵🇭

What do you think will metro manila mayors or iatf raise the alert level if the trend will continue to go up next week? even if it is just mild but with very high transmission rate chances are hospital utilization rate will go up.

wala nga gaano tao sa kalsada. Kung maglockdown pa magmukha lang sila tanga.
Kaya theres a great divide between employees and employers.
Every company's now operating on limited capacity hence the lower production, and yet labor groups and employees want the companies to pay for their quarantine leaves, eh di parang naka full capacity ang expenses.
A friend’s company got 30 positives, from office staff to production floor. So pilay sila, then bayaran pa nya yun naka quarantine?
And btw bakit parang pinipenalize ang mga businesses when mas strict pa sa workplace when enforcing health protocols, pero paguwi ng some employees dun naman sila nagkahawaan. (ie inuman).
