Most vaccination sites here in our province don't require scheduling na. You just register in their websites, then go to the vax site at your convenience, even if it's not yet your schedule. In some sites, you can even choose the brand.

No scheduling you just walk-in and fall in line. It is much easier this way than scheduling.

I'm wondering what do they mean by "protection against omicron". What kind of protection are they expecting? Protection from hospitalisation or protection from infection? If most cases are mild and asymptomatic, doesn't that mean the vaccine works?

Ganyan na yata lahat allowed na walk-in. Last week pinapunta ko driver and caregiver for their booster shots, walang tao sa sobrang walang tao they have to wait couple of hours dahil binubuo sila ng 10 people sa isang vial.

AFAIK Pfizer vials can be diluted to up to 4 doses/individuals.

Who gets the sticker na dinidikit sa vaccine card if 1 vial is for 4 people?

Do they allow walkins in the vaccination site?

it can prevent the virus from getting a foothold on the person, i.e., get infected.
and if it does get a foothold, it lessens the unsavory effects.

Anyone who is lucky to get it. The rest (like me) get by with the stamp mark and countersigned by the HCW with his/her PRC number.

    nope.
we got a computer-generated card issued by the government medical institution that sponsored the vaccination program.
i suppose, anyone who has the authority, can check the veracity of the card, by contacting the institution.

our hospital (and other hospitals as well!) has been getting inquiries regarding covid-associated certificates' veracity.
    it seems, may mga namemeke.
some are not difficult to pick out: poor printing quality, erroneous use of the english language, and even wrong choice of signatory!

i am told, stickers are also so easy to duplicate, nowadays.
especially if the inspecting entity has no idea of how the genuine sticker should look like.

You got the full dose but each vial is concentrated and diluted for other individuals. The vax card is marked and also entered into the computer database. I verified mine and its in the database.

Those on Pfizer(bnt162b2) better get a Moderna(mRNA-1273) booster.

For those fully vaccinated with AstraZeneca's vaccine, booster effectiveness dropped from 60% to 35% with a Pfizer booster and to 45% with a Moderna booster after 10 weeks, the UKHSA said.

Booster shots protect against symptomatic Omicron infection for about 1 weeks, study finds — which could mean more doses for some in 222

Are there cases na exposed sa positive (maskless) and did not catch covid? Umubo pa naman siya and we were both not wearing mask in the car! She has zero symptoms kasi. We found out lang tonight that she was positive from routine test at work
