maybe people aren't getting tested coz it's holiday season

why risk ruining Christimas with a positive result and having to isolate?

lalo kung walang nararamdaman who would go get tested?

itong nakaraan ilan araw umulan at malamig sigurado meron mga nagka-sipon pero nobody thinks it's covid

And where does the government get its money?

    An unfortunate fact overlooked is:
ang laki na ng (nadagdag sa) utang ng Pilipinas procuring these vaccines.

Andiyan na rin lang eh, might as well put them to good (judicious) use.

Good idea yan, but hindi pa rin pwede because EUA pa rin karamihan.

Pfizer lang ata my commercial use approval sa US, and of course Sinovac & Sinopharm in China.

Singapore may bayad ang Sinovac kasi sa priv. clinics lang ata available.

No, you might have misunderstood me, I'm not complaining.

All I'm saying is, good money is being spent on them, and we're paying through the nose for them so dapat gamitin nga kasi andiyan na (I'm referring to the anti vax people)

I'm starting to get affected with Omicron news again. Since nahawa ako ng delta even with double masking and followed all protocols, what more with Omicron? Pakabulok na lang ako dito sa bahay until I come home. Kahit na mahawa man ako at mild, puro seniors kasama ko at hindi ako makakafly agad

For fully vaccinated , Omicron is either mild o asymptomatic, can be treated by vitamin c, betadine throat at nasal wash at paracetamol. I found drinking 3 cups of coffee a day helps. No loss of smell nor taste, no coughing pero you feel may plema ka sa throat, no hingal., oxygen level is still in 94s above. Nagka flu ako noon, mas grabe payun.

US Army Creates Single Vaccine Against All COVID & SARS Variants, Researchers Say - Defense One

Within weeks, scientists at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research expect to announce that they have developed a vaccine that is effective against COVID-19 and all its variants, even Omicron, as well as from previous SARS-origin viruses that have killed millions of people worldwide.

The achievement is the result of almost two years of work on the virus. The Army lab received its first DNA sequencing of the COVID-19 virus in early 2020. Very early on, Walter Reed’s infectious diseases branch decided to focus on making a vaccine that would work against not just the existing strain but all of its potential variants as well.

Walter Reed’s Spike Ferritin Nanoparticle COVID-19 vaccine, or SpFN, completed animal trials earlier this year with positive results. Phase 1 of human trials, which tested the vaccine against Omicron and the other variants, wrapped up this month, again with positive results that are undergoing final review, Dr. Kayvon Modjarrad, director of Walter Reed’s infectious diseases branch, said in an exclusive interview with Defense One.

Unlike existing vaccines, Walter Reed’s SpFN uses a soccer ball-shaped protein with 24 faces for its vaccine, which allows scientists to attach the spikes of multiple coronavirus strains on different faces of the protein.

“It's very exciting to get to this point for our entire team and I think for the entire Army as well,” Modjarrad said.

Omicron: Pfizer CEO says we may need fourth Covid vaccine doses sooner than expected

Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla said Wednesday that people might need a fourth Covid-19 shot sooner than expected after preliminary research shows the new omicron variant can undermine protective antibodies generated by the vaccine the company developed with BioNTech.
