Italian man tries to dodge Covid jab using fake arm - BBC News

An Italian man who wanted a Covid vaccination certificate without getting the jab turned up for his vaccine with a fake arm, officials say.
The man, in his 50s, arrived for his shot with a silicone mould covering his real arm, hoping it would go unnoticed.
But a nurse was not fooled and the man has now been reported to the police.
The nurse told local media that when she had rolled up his sleeve, she found the skin "rubbery and cold" and the pigment "too light".

they found how Astra & J&J vaccines cause blood clots

    it's the vector

both vaccines use adenovirus as the delivery vehicle

when injected into the muscle, sometimes it leaks into the bloodstream

in the blood the adenovirus attracts something called platelet factor 4

makikita ng immune system ung weird adenovirus-PF4 complex and attack it and activate platelets and become balls of clot that travel thru the blood stream

pag malas ka bumara yan papunta puso o utak.......

nah. most probably it's going to be gma era ex doh secretaries manuel dayrit or esperanza cabral. if not one of them, sa palagay ko kung sino man ang i-recommend nila. sila ang pinpapakinggan ni robredo when it comes to public health matters. btw, it was dayrit who was instrumental in containing the sars outbreak at the beginning of the century kaya may credibility.

besides, wasn't leachon a former duterte appointee sa covid 19 task force? nadali kasi dissenting ang mga opinion niya sa mga kasama niya sa ntfcovid19 kaya i doubt he's in the short list for doh chief in case leni wins.

leachon is a pro-faceshield moron. he even posted a certain study that he claimed justified the use of face shields. but he obviously didn't even bother to read it. the devil is in the details

Those with natural immunity from a previous COVID infection are likely to get re-infected by Omicron. No protection unlike that provided vs Delta or Beta variants. No news of anyone getting severe symptoms or dying from omicron yet...

Increased risk of SARS-CoV-2 reinfection associated with emergence of the Omicron variant in South Africa | medRxiv

Population-level evidence suggests that the Omicron variant is associated with substantial ability to evade immunity from prior infection. In contrast, there is no population-wide epidemiological evidence of immune escape associated with the Beta or Delta variants. This finding has important implications for public health planning, particularly in countries like South Africa with high rates of immunity from prior infection. Urgent questions remain regarding whether Omicron is also able to evade vaccine-induced immunity and the potential implications of reduced immunity to infection on protection against severe disease and death.

I strongly disagree. Too sweeping a statement.

Knowing how Leni makes decision, it seems that not a single person holds sway to her judgment. She likes to consult more than one person. Plus her daugthers have medical background and she is an economist and not a "popularity" hungry individual like Leachon with a penchant for bravado.

That just makes me want to vote for Leni more. The same way some people voted for digong in 2016 to spite the "elitistas", I'm voting Leni in the hopes that Leachon spites the "pro-death" crowd.

You know, I wish Dr. Flavier were still alive sana.
He brought all his experience from the PRRM early in his career to good use during his term.

The good senator was probably one of the best health secretaries we had.

    i agree.
he had wit, he had intelligence, and he had the sake of the people in mind.
    even the 'enemy' respected him.
"cease fire muna tayo. magbabakuna si dr flavier sa bayan."

    OT.
"dr. flavier, why are you for family planning? don't you like children?"
"of course i like children! in fact, i have four of them. what about you? how many children do you have?"

he also had perfect attendance in the senate sessions.

sec juan flavier was also a great writer too. i remember he had a weekly article published in the phil star. he wrote life lessons and imparted wisdom via parables he creatively conjured in his head.
