gov't is still operating under the assumption that vaccinateds can no longer transmit

i think that's the prevailing narrative

despite US and UK studies show same viral load in the nose of vaccinated and unvaccinated

It is good that vaccination site in Manila now requires you to get appointment online no more walk-ins just like DFA passport appointment system better this way but this will slow down vaccination drive compared to walk-ins.

- body immunity (e.g. subsidized vitamins, food, OTC meds)
- covid tests (meron na ba yung pwede sa bahay na lang, importante lang naman malaman kung positive o hindi para sa next action item dahil wala pa gamot same pa din naman ang workaround.. agapan/pagalingin ang symptoms)
- protection (same pa din sa face masks pero need na nila gumawa ng proper na batas na applicable sa lahat, ang hindi mag-suot merong katapat na community service wag daanin sa pera or kulong.. like mag-sanitize ng community or tumulong sa proper garbage disposal.. dahil hindi tayo mindful kung saan napupunta ang maduming face masks, face shield at kung magkaroon man ng self covid test kits saan ito itatapon)
- dun sa mga may kaya, hindi ba pwede magkaroon ng lists na approve ng government nung mga kailangan to set up ng sariling first-aid (e.g. covid test, isolation room requirements, oxygen tank, covid doctor hotline para sa reseta basta required ang positive covid test, atbp.).. para lang i-address yung mga cases na hindi pa naman kailangan ng ICU.. Kaysa waiting lang sa labas ng hospital na no idea kung ano gagawin..

Hindi na talaga sustainable ang mga community quarantine..

Sa 2022 election, kaabang-abang ang promises ng mga candidates.. dapat may mailatag silang short term at long term plans..

Yep, it can go either way. Wala pa naman 2 years to. So it might end, it might continue. Sabi nga ni doc. Let us remain hopeful. Malay ba nung mga tao nung time nung 1918 na maglalaho nalang bigla yung pandemic nila, same as us now. malay ba natin if maglalaho nalang din ito bigla, nobody knows but it can happen.

Internal Health Ministry data shows that 14 Israelis have been infected with COVID-19 a week after receiving a booster shot, Channel 12 news reports.

The network says 11 of those infected are over the age of 60 — two of whom have now been hospitalized — while the other three got their third dose because they are immunocompromised.

If confirmed in larger samples, the figures could cast doubt on the effectiveness of the booster shot, which Israel has started administering before major health bodies around the world have approved it.

Ano bang issue ng "break trough" cases? As long as mild lang makuha ok na. Problema kasi mga unvaccinated sila ang kailangan ng hospitalization.

Kung gusto na matapos itong pandemic gawin ng mandatory vaccination para bumalik na sa normal at kung magka covid man puro mild na lang.

Breakthrough cases is not important. Kailangan hinde maging deadly itong covid kahit hinde mawala and ang sagot diyan is inoculation.

Long term plan is maging parang flu na lang ito. How can we get there? As of now mandatory inoculation then babalik sa normal ikot ng mundo.
