when my QC-based relative was hospitalized for covid, sa maynila siya na-uspital.

Dok, malinaw sa balita = sa south ang madali magkahawaan. And kulang hospital jan so travel to other cities.

Ang pumupuno sa true qc eh mga dayo.

Wow! That is strict! Are all of you vaxxed?
My mother, a super senior, still does her daily walks with her yaya wearing a mask. My village is quiet, has wide streets & generally, my neighbors are not the tambay type. We don’t wear masks in the property & do so only when we have to receive deliveries. Some of my neighbors have small tables outside the gate for deliveries. I know wearing masks all the time is not good for the health too but, to each his own. In times like these, you are responsible for yourselves.

    you're probably right.
that's probably why my QC-based relative could not get covid admission in qc, and had to go to manila for it.

Yes we are all vaccinated. I go out kasi once a month (or more if needed) and I assume that every time I go out I catch covid so we all wear masks at home. Kawawa nga the seniors here because since March 2020, they've only stepped outside the house TWICE to get vaccinated e that took 45 mins max lang.

I also have deliveries dropped off sa gate too. I am thinking nga if we could stop wearing masks na at home. My Mom said nga masama daw always naka mask hehe

My opinion lang, wear a good mask with a good seal when you go out & avoid crowded places. Gargle with Betadine & bath upon reaching home. Trust the vax. No one I know wears in the house.

Lung Center of the Philippines is a trial site for an oral antiviral drug (Molnupiravir) for mild to moderate COVID-19 patients.
Currently recruiting patients age 60 and above, not vaccinated for COVID-19 yet, who are at most 5 days symptomatic and has at least one risk factor (DM, HPN, CKD, CHF and COPD). The oral antiviral drug treatment will be given for just 5 days but monitoring of patient in total is 29 days. Patients will receive FREE HOME VISITS (c/o MD and RMT) and FREE laboratory procedures.

If you have patients (within NCR and nearby province) who are eligible for the study, you may refer them to me please. THANK YOU!

Heaven forbid, either of our forecasts!
sa totoo lang, such amounts are manageable for a country like ours.

I had a scare last month. I started to have mild coughing & felt sluggish the next day. Nahawa si wifey. We both quarantined & swabbed. Turned out negative for Covid. I must have picked up a bug in this in one of the places I work in. Since then, I decided to use better masks. Mahirap sa Covid, the symptoms mimic other common diseases.

That's what I do. I double mask (4 ply then cloth over it) and I gargle betadine. I remove my clothes in the garage then go straight to the bathroom once inside.

Yup. Tinatanong naman yan sa RITM. Kung hindi pa qualified, hindi ka itetest.
On hindsight, there are those who tests positive but have to be negative on a reswab before being cleared & a friend who was positive before was made to Q for 14 days but was not swabbed for clearance because the LGU said the virus is inactive by that time.

2years and 2months as per wiki ang spanish flu…

pero i wonder bakit problema pa rin ang covid-19 kahit may vaccine na…

is it due to volume of cases if we compare it to spanish? Pero kahit na?

May mga advance tech tayo ngayon which should help supress this pandemic… unlike sa 1918 kaya umabot ng 2years… cant help to think na may propaganda behind this, i hope hindi nga totoo si new world order…

Sana lang media together with the experts will campaign more on the positive side of having vaccine… natatabunan na kasi sa news ang benefits of having vaccinated compared sa more new deadlier/contagious variants…

Naiisip tuloy ng ibang tao na parang sayang yung pagka vaccine nila kasi hindi na susupress ng bagong variant ang current vaccine, which is hindi naman 100% true, kahit papano may naitulong ang vaccine…

ang problema din yung long term effect ng vaccines since bago pa ito and people got vaccinated parang naging trial pa lang tapos may mga new world order na group trying to capitalize it…
