Why is it that this covid-19 virus keeps mutating into a much deadlier form and not the other way around? (mutating into just a common colds/flu). What is the scientific reason behind this? because other known viruses to mankind we do not hear of such mutations. What so special with Covid? I mean it is already more than a year now going two.
that mutations into less deadly forms or more deadly forms have occurred, get suspected, when the statistics numbers change.
genome typing helps confirm the suspicion, of course.
without genome typing, "we can only guess" why the statistics are behaving in such and such manner.
and to clarify,
mutations are occurring in nature all the time, even in our own bodies right now.
mutations are the basis for "natural selection". google it, sirs. google can explain it more comprehensively than i can.
majority of these mutations do not cause a significant alteration in the behavior of the cell or virus, hence the apparent absence of observable changes in morphology and behavior.
once in a while, a mutation gives the cell or virus an advantage for better survival over the rest. these mutant strains then get to multiply better than the rest, and may end up being the dominant form.
but when the mutation gives the cell or virus a decided disadvantage, that strain is destined to oblivion. the line dies.
finally,
be aware that the so-called "advantage" or "disadvantage", is from the point of view of the organism or virus only.
it does not in any manner reflect on our disposition.

What's the protocol ba when a person is positive for china virus? My Paulinian friend told me that their doctor did NOT require them to swab (they are 6 at home including her Mom who is positive) Ang mahal pala ng swab sa hospital (P17k) Saka sino ba yung mga fino force to go into quarantine facility?
Ang bilis talaga ng china virus kasi her Mom had fever August 2 then she had swab August 6 by that time her Mom only had fever. The result came out positive August 7. I don't know if knowing na positive worsened her Mom's condition because then she developed coughing and phlegm and her oxygen is 90 na lang so they had to buy oxygen tank (96 with oxygen) Sa buong household NONE of them are sick, even her Dad, gusto tabihan pa rin matulog asawa niyaI told my friend nga, what the hell was her Dad thinking? Wala naman sila balak magpa swab, they will just quarantine for 21 days. I get it, kasi wala rin naman magagawa, if they find out positive sila, they are already doing quarantine

Natatawa ako sa mga delivery rider at yung trabahador na magspray ng alcohol sa damit front & back as if nakakatulong pag mist. Mga kagaguhan ng medical community pinabibili kayo ng alcohol para malanghap hahahha
From hengde to rubbing alcohol = saan ba grumadweyt mga yan

How England went from delta disaster to looking 'better than it ever has before'
Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
i posted about it last month -- that UK will be lifting all restrictions despite facing the delta wave
grabe ang batikos sa gobyerno
the media, epidemiologists... they were bashing Boris Johnson and other members of the conservative party
but the gov't didn't fold
their gov't had balls
di tumupi sa batikos
not only vaccinesBut the government held firm. And in mid-July, just as daily cases hit 60,000, they began to decline. More encouraging was data from Scotland, where infections not only began to fall a few weeks before England's, but were followed by a decline in hospitalizations, too.
i posted that UK had previous large waves so many of their people already have antibodies
The vaccine has been supplemented, too. The U.K. had two devastating waves in 2020, meaning that today, either by shot or illness, an estimated 90 percent of people have Covid-19 antibodies, according to the Office for National Statistics.

I totally agree! [emoji23] Yung mga marunong pa sa doctor (the audacity) at western medicine, wag pupunta ng hospital.
