But Eric Domingo, chief of the Food And Drug Administration, disputed Solante’s rant against Sinovac and said there were not enough evidence to suggest that one vaccine brand was more vulnerable to breakthrough infections than others.


Solante conceded that he also believes that Sinovac is an effective vaccine for the general population, but the healthcare community was at greater risk of breakthrough infections and should be prioritized in getting booster shots.

Very irresponsible doctor. Lalo lang nya binibigyan ng reason for people not to get vaccinated, especially if its Sinovac.

Me & my wife got pfizer and moderna before. My 20 y/o son and my sis in law conditioned their mind na aztra today administer sa kanila e Sinovac pala. Need ko pa kumbisihin na "maayos" naman ang made made in China. Ba't ganun wala silang tiwala sa sinovac. Ako before kahit anu basta ma vaccine ako.

Sinovac or other vaccine PLUS religiously observation of health protocol sem sem for me.

Tapos yun pa naman ang lagi ko naririnig na balita months ago.. More and more shipments of Sinovac instead of other brands. madalang ko nga marinig sa news ibang vaccines noon. most of which are donations..pero yung ibang sinovac na dumating is "donation" daw.. this most likely a kickVAC.

In a few more months, the private sector can sell the vax. If you got the Sinovac, you can then choose to booster with another, upon doctors advise of course.
