Yup. as soon as you get your first dose, your online vaccine card is immediately updated. You are also informed of your second dose schedule on site and they also give you a small piece of paper with the schedule and some post-vaccination notes. On your second dose schedule, just bring you the same waiver with QR code (or reprint the updated vaccine card) to any of the designated vaccination sites for your vaccine brand - you dont have to go to the same site. While i did get notified by sms for my second dose, it is not required. The second dose vaccination went much faster than the first.

One thing striking though, it's only on sinovac that the gov't. Really aimed its resources on. I wonder why [emoji12].

Di ba? Nakapagtataka na priority sa pag purchase ang Sinovac pero pagdating sa turukan Sinopharm ang gagamitin?

Simple lang yan. Sinovac is willing to bribe or give kickbacks. Well documented yan. At yan ang gusto ni businessman Duque at du30.

You know what I think they should make vaccine easier and much accessible to people especially seniors like a vaccine drive thru or vaccine and go site (just like swab and go) and perhaps make it available in barangay level.... some people will find it hard going to vaccination site or they are just plain lazy what im saying is make it easier for people to get vaccinated.

I think the problem is lack of manpower sa mga LGUs. mahirap yun evaluating each individuala dahil nga covid vaccines' development was done in blazing speed. Tapos record keeping pa. Then meron pa pala observation

it is strange, why some folks believe the vaccine initially lowers one's immunity... before it confers one with the desired immune status...
...sino ba ang nagkakalat ng kasinungalingang ito!

"I know a woman who didn’t know she had COVID because she was asymptomatic, and got vaccinated. Since you’re getting injected with the virus to stimulate the creation of antibodies, she must have had a virus surge. Her asymptomatic infection turned severe and she had to spend a month in the hospital. Luckily for her, she’s healthy and young enough and survived. But how many people could she have infected at the vaccination site?" - excerpt from above philstar article. How is this possible? Virus surge?

I think more than anything, the vaccination site protocols should be addressed. Potential superspreader events yung iba e. Defeats the purpose of vaccination. The author's account is not the first I've heard of people getting infected from vaccination sites.

it takes serious planning and enforcement, to adequately manage a covid vax center.

    the injected virus is impotent.
it is not capable of virus-ing the body.
her course would have been the same, vaccine or not.

With a 14-day window for symptoms to appear, would it be really possible to pinpoint where someone got infected? Just thinking out loud…

    alas,
    your fears are well-founded.

welcome to the exasperating world of contact-tracing!
and to those who, for reasons i can not fathom, intentionally volunteer fictitious contact information... woe unto them.

Indian states sound COVID 'black fungus' alarm as cases surge | ABS-CBN News

it's coz people think dexamethasone can prevent covid

that's only used in severe cases when there's respiratory distress -- when the immune system is already overreacting

you don't suppress the immune system when you don't have covid yet or have early covid

that's when you need a strong immune system to fight the virus

kaya nagka fungal infection mga yan kasi ginawa prophylactic ang dexa
