Yup can't imagine bringing home strangers esp GROs, single moms and cougars from the internet. What if psycho yan or from a shady background or worse involved sa ex that could bring harm to you or your family. Some people are very capable of violence or scandals. Paulanan ka bala sa bahay pag tinopak haha. I'm surprised that a lot of people don't mind bringing strangers home such as my friend na balak din papuntahin si dating app guy sa bahay niya [emoji15]

general douglas macarthur had a 'kept woman' sometime in his career.
he didn't want his mom to find out, even as he was a bachelor at that time.
he passed up what could have been a big boost in his career, because doing otherwise would have made his mom know about this woman.
some men are like that.

Efficacy of Chinese vaccines is “not high”—officials back 3rd dose | Ars Technica
Effectiveness of Chinese vaccines ‘not high’ and needs improvement, top health official says | Washington Post
So straight from the source na that their vaccine efficacy is "not high".
We all had a feeling it wasn’t. Plasma nAb rapidly declines after a natural infection, reported before as 3 mos post & Dr. Fauci said even the mRNA vax might need to have a booster after 8 months. AZ has to be given in 3 doses, 3 mos then 6 months after. But we all knew all these vax are in the clinical trials stage & I myself didn’t have too high expectations for Sinovac. But there are also current studies that protection offered is rapidly boosted with the 2nd dose so for now, that is good enough.

There's a really good paper that appeared on nature.com about nAb and protection which did actually predict this scenario.
Neutralizing antibody levels are highly predictive of immune protection from symptomatic SARS-CoV-2 infection | Nature Medicine
This chart from the paper compares the observed efficacy of the various vaccines
mRNA-1273: Moderna
NVX-CoV2373: Novavax
BNT162b2: Pfizer
rAd26-S + rAd5-S: Sputnik V
ChAdOx1 nCov-19: AstraZeneca
Ad26.COV2.S: J&J
CoronaVac: Sinovac
Convalescent: Recovery from actual infection
And this one models protection from severe and mild COVID over time depending on the initial efficacy and several assumed half-life values
At the start even the vaccines with 70-80% efficacy give good protection, but that declines quite rapidly compared to something that starts with 90-95%.
If more doses are required of these tsaynis vaccines to raise the efficacy, then it will become more expensive in the long run.
Woohooo, tiba tiba na naman sa kita ng bansang CHINA WUHAN VIRUS
caveat.
these are models or projections.
the product is not even two years old (730 days).
If covid vaccine gonna be a yearly thing then so be it para mabalik na sa normal, and this projection of how long protection will last is nothing. Eventually baka early nest year or end of this year all vaccine makers will come out with there booster shots.
Ganun lang naman gagawin nila eh until magawa talaga nila yun lifetime protection against covid kung wala pa eh di booster lang to tide us over.
