November 30th, 2010 11:29 AM #632hello sir ghost. kumusta na. hindi na natuloy ang order ko sa iyo na race chip. hindi ko na nahintay. naka-vtech na ako. so far ok naman.
like i said in my post "no OTHER make of car, pickup----- etc" can keep up with my nav. sa mga nakakasabay ko na nav, i just allow a good stretch of clear road just to measure things up, after that bibitiw na ako. walang clear enough roads dito sa amin to push the nav to its limits. i also dont race my engine. in fact i haven't even touched 4000rpm while dispatching other oppositions.
when i'm done with my mods i'll accept any invitations to race as long as its in a race track, not public roads. be safe brother.
TO ALL NAV owners:
our pickup packs much power but lets not forget that it weighs 4000+ pounds (without load pa) and as good and stable as its handling is, its no supercar. lets not race on public roads.

tama si DocGlenn. no racing on public roads. i usually just overtake those cars that are particularly barumbado na mag overtake ng other cars in front of me.
magkaron lang ng upgraded rotors, tama na mods ko.

December 1st, 2010 08:52 AM #635its still there. i didn't do anything to it. but much less conspicuous na sya ngayon. dahil na din siguro sa cycle ng washing and buffing. i could have just used rubbing compound kasi maliit lang naman talaga but i made it a constant reminder for me to always be wary of wayward drivers. ngayon, before i park, i make sure the space has a bit of extra for the width of the nav. i also prefer to park near posts in shopping malls. mas malaki ang allowances sa areas na yun and only one side na lang ang may danger of getting hit. also i prefer to park beside nice cars also, yun tipong makikintab din at well-maintained (hoping/assuming the owner is not reckless). most importantly, i also take note now of the color and plate number of the cars i park beside with (para kung mag-iwan sya ng ebidensya na binangga nya ang gilid ng nav ko, alam ko kung sino ang iha-hunting ko

I totally agree Doc, and remember when speeding on any roads or track you will always have to stop, with all the engine mods available today dont forget to also upgrade your breaking system.
my nav was rear ended last week end in Nasugbu by a delivery truck, bumper was dented as well as scratches on the tail gate, while parked in front of Jolibee, the truck fled, good thing a vendor in the area saw the accident and approached me ,he got the plate number and color of the truck, made some calls and after a few hours HPG Batangas called me up to report that the truck was apprehended on a check point in Lemery batangas, drove all the way to lemery from punta fuego, just to hear all the #%*&^ excuses of the driver, now his truck is impounded, driver in jail and somehow lost his drivers license, cant remember where i put it, until now he is in jail, his boss decline to pay up his bail
lessons learned ? Crime does not Pay !! ( i think crime ang name ng boss nung driver)

Guys have you tried a quick step on the accelerator pedal then you will feel a sudden lose in engine power then the rpm wont go higher than 2K rpm? I was encountering this lately tapos sometimes bigla na lang mamatay yung engine in the middle of traffic
.. I just turn off the engine for a while then turn it on again tapos ok na ulit lahat.. what seems to be the problem?

A relative of mine in Canada had his Scion FR-S PPF'd and then had it ceramic coated. He says it's...
