Things im considering befor burning some cash to chips..
1. Engine Longetivity
2. EGT and Turbo life
3. FC
Ive read using the power wisely could actually conserve fuel pero kung laging hataw mas malakas konsumo.
So far im leaning towards the tuned chips like Chipit. comes complete kit with pyrometer-egt gauge and can be programmed to automatically adjust whith EGT limits.. This chip also claims 250+ kW 820+ Nm on the new v6 550.

I am just thinking of a good bulb upgrade for the h11 s. Maybe a higher output one of sorts. Have had no luck finding one so far,
brader, if you are half hearted and adamant about mod'ing your engine... hwag na lang. hirap mag-sisi. tataas talaga risk factor lalo na at tapos n warranty ng oto. pero para sa mga power hungry... mas matimbang ang gains versus risks. these guys are the one's likely to be smiling at a blown turbo whilst saying: "time for an upgrade"! so ask yourself first bro... which are you?
I dont think stock wiring could handle higher amperage kaya naisip ko additional fogs na lang.. Eto yung before the bumpers nya.

Kelangan din natin ng sponsor para sa dyno runs. Hirap magtest nyan on the road lalo na kung iba-ibang unit. Dapat isa lang laspagin natin na under warranty pa. Ok sana kung ma tune lahat to a fixed AFR. Say 16 max?

Ganda nung led, harang lang yung radiator hehe. Bulag yata ako, di ko maappreciate HID sa ulan kahit lower K's.
Maganda sana to get the same 4x4 power while having a leaner AFR. Since identical naman engines natin sa high output yd25 siguro tatagal naman yung pump, turbo, etc. kung match lang or close to the 4x4 ang tune. Gamit ko right now DP, since na OOC ako magpakabit ng gauges nag iingat na lang akong di humataw ng matagal pag loaded, paakyat or sobrang init ng weather.
Wait lang tayo kay Chipit, lower than srp naman siguro makukuha natin.![]()

comparo: drag na lang muna, then circuit. who's fastest, who's coolest (exhaust temps). average the two results... you have your winner. drag would unmask each chip's tuning. some chips can really snap your neck from gear 1-3, then lose steam in the upper gears. circuit laps will test power delivery and smoke. hwag na masyado technical... dyno? unless may sponsors who really want those performance numbers in print... ayus pwidi. pero sponsor or not, malamang mangyari ito. hindi naman "reason" kailangan ng NCP boys, "excuse" is a much more apt word

Saan kayo nagpakabit ng pyrometer, before or after turbo ang butas? Any recommended and idea howmuch?
* 12 vdc: alvarado ba apelyido nun nagre-request? hehehe. yung pyro probe sa egr blanking plate namin inilagay. kung makapal yung plate pwede tap mo na lang, otherwise welding ka ng bung. egt gauge ang pinakamahal sa mga gauges, depending on the brand, cost sya between 3,800 (depo) to 9,000 (defi stand alone). kay marvin sa blueline ko nakuha yung depo, sa banaue yun.
Uy di naman ako ganun ka technical ha, aside from the power figures ang mas habol ko sa dyno yung AFR readout. Better than getting an O2 sensor and gauge hehe.
