Hi there and thanks for your reply. I really can't describe the sound but it's very similar to a rhythmic "knock on wood" sound, audible inside the cabin - driver's seat.

agree ako kay cydep on this one. likely culprit is the turbo solenoid. pa-check mo sa casa and they will transfer that.

Hey there Glenn. Were you having this problem as well?

Guys, should the sound be evident even before its 1st PMS? I'm sure that I was not hearing this before and I'm nearing 5K on mileage.

One more thing, how sensitive is the rubber hose to touch? I was thinking that I may have caused the sound to worsen when I was cleaning the engine with a cloth.

almost all of us have experienced this thug thug sound on the engine bay, that's why nissan is releasing new units with this modification done or at least done on your 1k pms.. have it checked sa Casa sir they know what to do, free of charge naman yan, abala nga lang

Whats an ARB protection steps? is it like a slider? post some pix!

it could act as a slider but not as effective probably like that of shrocworks. the arb protection steps are higher while the one of shrockworks is a true slider since it has a long bar underneath to protect the runningboards.

price here is about 40k

^ Nice. Looks like a slider with diamond plate. That can be fabricated here using tubular bars.

yes it can be locally fabricated too. this also has provisions to connect to an arb bumper using side rails. just in case i decide to install one.

Mine is CB aluminun. I hit a plant box once while turning right, sobrang dilim kasi. Ok na proteksyon at tapakan pag nag ccarwash..

and so i got stuck


was trying to navigate around a tree and slid into this mud that high centered my front axle while hitting my rear bumper on a tree lol






this is how she stands right now with 1.5" lift in the front and the rear is stock. Inalis ko nga pala yung mga plastic sa ilalim ng front bumper and i think it looks better.
